I am writing to bring to your attention an issue I recently discovered with the 2024 RV I purchased from A&L RV Sales in **** ***** ******* on 12/12/2024. Before making my purchase, I conducted thorough research on A&L RV Sales. I came across some reviews about Hurricane Helene damaging RV’s being sold at this location. I was assured that no other RV’s on the lot were affected, despite the storm passing just a few miles away. During my initial walkthrough, one of the RV technicians mentioned that he had retouched some of the cracked roof sealant because it did not meet his standards. Aside from this minor repair, the walkthrough proceeded smoothly, and I left feeling confident in my purchase after driving from *****. However, two weeks later, I took my 2024 brand new RV to **** ******* to install a complete solar system. I chose to have the system professionally installed as they provide warranty for their work of the RV as part of the service. During their inspection, a technician discovered cracked sealants and water damage in multiple areas of the roof. They advised me that the entire roof would need to be replaced. Understandably, I am extremely frustrated to learn about this significant issue so soon after purchasing what was presented as a brand-new RV. At the same time, I am relieved that this problem was identified early. Had I not opted for a professional installation of the solar system, I might not have discovered the water damage until it caused more serious problems in the future. This situation raises serious concerns about the condition of the RV when it left your dealership. I trusted that I was purchasing a high-quality RV, and it is deeply disappointing to face such a major issue so soon after my purchase after assuring me that there was no hurricane damage to any other RV on their lot. I kindly request that A&L RV Sales/management team review this matter promptly so this won’t happen again to another unsuspecting customer.

We inspected the roof has normal. We did not add any equipment to the roof so we would not have seen any issues under the skin of the roof. We saw evidence of any leaks inside the coach

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

We purchased the trailer 12/12/24 and we dropped off the RV to **** ******* on 12/16/24 to install a solar system kit.
Having the RV only 2 weeks doesn’t cause this much damage, clearly the mold and damage has been there for months.
I have evidence supporting my timeline and damage. What evidence do you have supporting your claims?

    Regards,
