After moving my family from ********* to ********** to attend this flight school, I was immediately sent to their doctor for checkup before starting. Their doc cleared me to fly, having missed sinus and ear issues that then required 2 surgeries and 3 months off of the program to have situated. Had both surgeries done at my own expense and went back to school.Upon returning to the program for about a month, I was told they needed another $25k check to continue towards getting my licenses. 8 days later without any written or verbal communications of unsatisfactory performance they cut me from their flight program. I have no license, lost 9 months, have relocated to a different state, and am out $49k. Thanks ATP!

ATP Flight School was paid the amount of $18,675.00 from the period I attended the school, which was from October 10, 2022 to November 23, 2022. The amount was paid via a loan with ****** ***. ****** *** disbursed a total of $45,500.00 and ATP refunded (****** ***) the amount of $26,825.00. When I got the refund calculation from ATP, they added charges that I were not made aware to me prior or during my training. Those are: Pre/Post Briefings in the total amount of $1,875.00 and Flight Training Device (FTD) in the amount of $1,995.00. When I had access to my account with them, these charges never showed up, nor did I sign or give permission to charge for such things. If I had been informed or had knowledge about future charges, I wouldn't have accepted them. The school voluntarily discontinued my training because I refused to pay for extra flight training that they were offering. And the moment I denied it, they dropped me from their school. And now, to my surprise they added charges to things that were never meant to be charged in the first place. The entire stage of private pilot (which I was on), costs around $20,000 and it lasts for approximately 3 months. I attended 6 weeks at the school and I'm paying basically the whole amount of the 3 month stage. Their contract states that if the program is discontinued they will charge a flat rate of $75 for pre and post briefings. However, these, for the most part were never made and the school is saying they are charging me for the feedback that was typed online, but this is not stated in the contract. And I was not the one that quit training, they chose to discontinue it because I wasn't willing to give in to their scam. A rep named ****** called me and hung up as I was requesting clarification on these charges. They never replied to my email or called me back about the issue. My request is a refund of $3870 that was charged incorrectly.
