I have emailed CVA and never got a response concerning a rod they sent me for my muzzleloader. It seems to have an important defect. After a couple weeks of no response, I tried to call. The recording said they can't take phone calls due to "technical difficulties". In addition, they are constantly out of stock on basic items. These all seem to be indications that BPI is not in great financial shape. I will not buy any additional products from them other than components for my muzzleloader, which right now I can't get.

I purchased a *******/BPI HMR PRO HB-6.5cm in 2020. I have requestednumerous times since June of 2021 to have my barrel replaced and/orswapped per their FAQ and service program. Each time I have requested this,*******/BPI has stated either they have suspended or halted their rebarrelingprogram. For record, here are my contact dates (phone calls included),requests, and results: October, 2020 - Purchase of item primarily based onrebarreling program June, 2021 - Contacted BPI to confirm rebarrelingprogram and inquire about details of this as well as other questions unrelatedto the issue in this complaint. September, 2021 - Reached out to initiaterebarreling program - Advised the rebarreling program was temporarilysuspended. Inquired about purchasing a barrel and was provided a link thatdid not direct me to a sales page as well as told to purchase the barrelelsewhere. April, 2022 - Reached out to initiate rebarreling program - Advisedthe rebarreling program was suspended for another 6 months due to "back-log". I again requested to purchase the barrel so BPI would not need to installit. September, 2022 (Phone Call) - Inquired if the rebarreling service hadresumed. Was advised it was again suspended for the same "6 months" May,2023 - Inquired if the rebarreling service had resumed. Was advised it ******** suspended for the same "6 months" I was told more than a year prior.Asked again for the direct sale of a barrel and was told BPI does not have anybarrels to sell. (This is ironic they wouldn't have any barrels to sell but are ableto install them on new finished goods.) September, 2023 (Phone Call)-Inquired if the rebarreling service had resumed. Was advised it was againsuspended for the same "6 months" I was told more than 2 years (24 months)prior. I am requesting *******/BPI make a one time exception in lieu of theextraordinarily excessive "backlog" as well as the equivocated language usedby the service team regarding true length of the "backlog".

I am rejecting this response because: First off,***** can you please tell me how I am breaking federal law, please educate me please.when I called CVA I already I  talked to ******** shop where I bought the gun from and they said that they would swap out the gun from me and take it out of my name and send it back to CVA and I could get a refund are that CVA send me a new gun and put it in my name and send the gun I have now back to CVA.Im not settling with a gun that I shot once and it broke and keeping it.The only thing that I will settle with is either a refund are a new gun, thats it,besides the gun comes with a 14 day buy back if your not satisfied with it,so only difference with me is that the gun is only two months old,so just buy it back from me now,it was broke when I bought it new are send me a new gun.Im not rolling over on this issue,I want a new gun are a refund, bottom line.

    Sincerely,

*********************************hat I did not pay for a used gun are a gun that I'm gonna have to send it off for repairs after I fired it one time.Further ***** I bought it to **** with this hunting season and that it would take up to two months for repairs. So now hunting season is here and I can't use my new $680.00 dollar rifle that I bought. This is my 6th Cva rifle, with customer support like this,I will never buy another cva rifle and will be sure to let everyone know how sorry there customer support and products have become.

The customer is asking us to break federal law with his request and we cannot do so. His only available option is to send the rifle in for repair and he refuses to. We are working with him to get this resolved but there is no legal way for us to handle this situation without him sending his rifle in for repair. We will happily fix or replace the rifle as necessary and as outlined in the product's warranty.

    Thanks,
