I hired ******* ****** of Jamaica Works LLC as a contractor to finish my basement. He stated to me that he was a residential licensed contractor and drew up a contract with the scope of work to be done. On his contract he also stated that he was fully licensed for the project. The contract was signed on 01/20/2025 and the basement job began a couple of days later. When I pulled the permit to for the project (******* told me that I did not need one and he knew this because he worked for Gwinnett County building inspection unit, which I later found out this was a lie) there was a section where I could input the contractor information on the online form. When I asked ******* for his contractor license number and input the number that he had provided me, the Gwinnett County system could not find him. I then proceeded to find his license information of the Georgia secretary of state website and I was not able to find his contractor license information there either. I asked Mr. ****** again about if he was truly a licensed contractor and he again stated he was. Finally, the next day, ******* ****** admitted that he had lied about actually having a business license and came clean that he did not have one. He also admitted a couple of days later that the electrician he hired for the project does not have a contractors license and the **** company he used does not have a contractors license nor a business license. When I tried to resolve the issue with ******* ******, he continued to try to scam me and told me that he was not willing to resolve the issue in an appropriate manner and told me that he would no longer be working on our house.

Ms ***** did hire us to perform a basement renovation to her home, none of her statements about me being licensed is true I specifically told her that I work under a company that pulls all our permits and there'd be a charge to use that service. I also stated that I'm in ***** to take my test which incurs a wait time beyond my control. My company is licensed and listed on the Ga Secretary of state, licensed in **************. We carry ********* comp and a $1,000,000, LIABILITY POLICY. U suggested that she could pull her own permit and list herself as the contractor with the ability to hire whomever she choses. She did, however she insists on wanting myself to be listed. I reiterated that would incur a charge as I stated earlier. I gave her all my credentials including listing her as an insured on my CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE. She proceeded with with hiring us but insisted on changing all the prices mid stream of work. We accommodated her in every aspect. We passed all our inspections.. There were two adjustments that needed to be addressed when we had our inspection last Tuesday. The inspector spoke with myself in her prescence indicated what needed to be done and we agreed on a return date for him to check. I was present the sane day to make corrections but was locked out. She refused to answer my calls all day. Called me this morning to ***** that she won't be paying my invoice as stated in contract. She's a manipulator, Transparency was had  she hired us knowing the situation, pulled her own permit, 85% of work completed. At this juncture she refuses to live up to her duties. Our work is pristine and we stand by it 100%
