  -Dates of the Transactions and Amounts: July 14,2022 ($17,000 by check), July 28, 2022 ($8,000 by check), August 3, 2022 ($2,000 by check).-Total Amount Paid to SS Green Builds: $27,000 -What SS Green Builds Committed to Provide: A complete landscape remodel as outlined by our conversations and the contract signed. Complete list of remaining work detailed in email and confirmed by SS Green Builds. Committed to completing the project and advised they would never ask for more money.-Nature of the Dispute: SS Green Builds underbid on my contract to secure my business and falsely portrayed their company and crew. I paid in full ahead of the scheduled time, per request of ***** at SS Green Builds but my project remains less than 25% complete after almost 11 months. They advised that they would bring other revenue back to my job and were committed to seeing it through, but that has not been seen and the job remains incomplete.-Resolution Attempts: In April of 2023 SS Green Builds advised that there was nothing they could do without additional material. I advised that I was willing to pay for additional materials if SS Green Builds provided labor as already paid because they underbid on material costs to secure my business. SS Green Builds drafted a contract extension that included $2,500 of labor costs for two crew members. I advised that I was not comfortable paying additional labor. SS Green Builds advised that they were unwilling to complete the project if I didn't pay the additional labor despite admitting to underbidding and that it was not my fault that the project stalled. I am seeking a refund from them.

  ************** claims are false. I have been open and communicative with him since the beginning of the project. ****** even thanked me for being open and honest with him about some set backs we had including getting Covid. Never once have I lied or misled ****** in any way. We greatly underestimated the amount of gravel needed to cover ************** property. During discussions with ****** we explained that the amount of gravel was not enough and more was needed. With gravel comes the labor to install. The amount of gravel and stone that ********** paid for was delivered and is currently on his property and all gravel delivered was installed.

  The only email I received was on June 1, 2023 and had the subject: You have a New Message from BBB Serving Metro Atlanta, Athens & NE *******, Complaint #********
  
  

  I was expecting to receive additional emails based on new messages but I never did.

  
  

  I was only informed of the complaint being closed by the ****TV investigative reporter who covered my case because SS Green Builds is claiming that the BBB dismissed my claim.

  Regardless, I have provided numerous pictures and images attached to my complaint. 

  
  

  I signed a contract with SS Green Builds for a full landscape remodel, and after almost a year the job is less than 25% complete and my yard is a mess. 

  
  

  I paid them $27,000 in three installments, as was agreed upon.

  
  

  The project was supposed to only take 10 days, by their estimation.

  
  

  SS Green Builds was also removed from Thumbtack because of this situation after Thumbtack attempted to mediate and found that SS Green Builds violated their Terms of Service by not providing a refund due to the incomplete work.
