Absolutely disappointed with EVERYTHING about the school, ESPECIALLY the DIRECTOR *******************************. She is a scammer and will take your money! We chose the option of Monday-Friday 8am-1pm for $280 a week. Which they will charge you every Friday. We enrolled him on a Wednesday and expected them to be HONEST AND TRUTHFUL ,but man was I in a surprise. We got charged on FRIDAY, 3 DAYS after we JUST ENROLLED HIM. We got a charge a $280 plus ANOTHER $280 for next weeks tuition. I can understand the charge for the next week ,but to CHARGE US $280 from WEDNESDAY TO FRIDAY? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? The total of Wednesday-Friday should've been $168. Do the math, they are basically charging $56 a day. He was there for 3 days which totals up to $168. When I brouthis up to her attention, she's proceeds to say "we talked about this." I was completely baffled and felt EXTREMELY uncomfortable as NO ******** WE NEVER TALKED ABOUT THIS and I don't know what parent would agree to a charge of $280 for 3 DAYS! The way she spoke to me in a nonchalant manner, as If I was annoying her for asking about MONEY that FEEDS MY FAMILY. I KNOW FOR A FACT, I never agreed to anything and her gaslighting the situation instead of addressing it with honestly and respect was a BIG RED FLAG TO ME. Everyone need to know about the atrocities that happens in this place. This is UNACCEPTABLE, YOU NEED TO DO BETTER. How are you okay with STEALING from FAMILIES WITH KIDS.

********************** came to tour my preschool on July 11, 2023, a Tuesday. During the tour, she mentioned having a negative experience at her child's current school, and for that reason, wanted to start at our school as soon as possible, as she was very impressed with the school. We do not normally allow new students to start mid-week, but being a mother myself, I made an exception, as I was confident that my school and my staff could provide excellent care for her child. During the tour, I explained that our registration fee is $200 (due immediately) and that the tuition for the first week was also due immediately, as our weekly tuition is always automatically drafted each Friday for the upcoming week, and since we were half way through the current week, the tuition would be processed immediately, along with the registration fee. We also discussed that the tuition for the following week (7/17 - 7/21) would be drifted on Friday, July 14th (again, as ALL families pay tuition every Friday for the upcoming week). During the tour, ********************** expressed interest in working for my school as well. I mentioned that there was a possibility that one of my Georgia Pre-K teachers would be moving, so please send me her resume. The evening of her son's first day in attendance, ********************** wrote a very nice review (attached) about my school and her child's teachers. (the review was later deleted) After learning that I did not have a position available to hire her, she came in on the following Wednesday, 7/19/2023, stating that she had found a school to enroll her child and hire her, so Friday would be her child's last day in attendance. I explained that we require a two week notice for withdrawal, but that I was happy to make an exception so that her family's needs would be met. After her child's last day, she wrote a horrible ****** review stating the same exact paragraph that she sent to the BBB. She also posted another very nasty review under a pseudonym (*****************) which she used to write very nasty reviews for other small businesses who make her unhappy. I have included screen shots of all of the reviews left about myself and my school. I sent her an email after the first review, which clearly was a defamation of my character, calling me a scammer, liar and thief, and respectfully asked her to remove that review. I also reached out to ****** and requested that they remove that review. ****** removed the review, but she reposted a review removing some of the personal information about me.

I have included our rules and regulations, which were given to **********************, as well as her enrollment forms with her signature confirming her receipt and understanding of our regulations and payment schedule.

I am rejecting this response as I do not feel it was an adequate response to my complaint. Due to my family feeling unsafe, overwhelmed and uncomfortable we have contacted local law enforcement regarding ******************************* stalking and harassing my family. The definition of defamation is and I quote from the dictionary, "an act that occurs when someone's reputation and integrity are tarnished or damaged because of malicious intent by another party." If anyone should be claiming defamation of character it is me. ******************************* acted maliciously to slander my name to the director of the school where I was employed. This is clearly an abuse of power as she had no way of knowing where I was applying to. I received a very alarming email by ******************************* the director of tabula rasa that stated "I have also contacted ******** legal team as well as my personal attorney to ensure that this defamation of my character is removed in a timely manner. ***************************, the owner of ************************** (I was the director for her from 2007-2011 and we have a very good relationship) has also been made aware of your character and tendency to bully and harass small businesses." The definition of defamation of character was an act that your own employee took against me. She had no business going to go talk to my employer, nor did I ever disclosed that information to her. Which means she took the time out of her day to formally stalk and ****** my personal life. What type of business does that? Now regarding ***************** ****** review, that review as I spoke to the owner of the company which rudely hung up on me while I was discussing the matter, is my mother's account and we are in American the land of the free. As an American and as a human let alone she has the right to use her her first amendment. I had reached out to the owner of tabula rasa as I had just stated and she was awfully quite ill-mannered in her response and claimed to speak spanish but her spanish was honestly non-understandable. My mother was with me when I took this call and after she had seen the way I was treated she did not feel comfortable discussing this matter with the owner anymore as she did not feel the owner was going to treat her with respect. As I stated in my review which it is my personal experience and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I was not made aware nor was I ever communicated that if I enrolled my son on a Wednesday the tuition would only cover from Wednesday to Friday. When I brought this up to the director she proceeded to gaslight the situation instead of resolving the issue. If I would've know that information I would've proceeded to enroll him on Monday but after finding out how your company threatens, harasses and stalks customers I wish I would've NEVER stepped foot in tabula rasa. We made a HUGE mistake in enrolling our son into tabula rasa. I honestly don't know any family who would willingly agree to paying a $200 application fee plus $280 for a weeks tuition to only receive 3 days credit for it and be okay with that like no, tabula rasa needs to do better and have better communication skills and sympathy for families. Especially since you are a school! Tabula rasa took advantage of my need for childcare as I did expressed we had a bad experience with another company. I voiced my first amendment as a customer who has an AWFUL experience with ********************** rasa ,but that DOES NOT give you the right to invade my personal life and contact and defame my character to another director because I wrote a bad review, that is also called ABUSE OF POWER. ******************************* (your employer whose actions represent your school), proceeded reached out to my employer and slander my name when all I did was use my first amendment. All of this happened over something so simple. Perhaps you need to work on your communication skills instead of harassing families who all they have done was enroll their child in the wrong school and had a terrible experience.

    With all due respect,

The original complaint as well as requested outcome was regarding explanation of charges, which I clearly provided along with signed documents by ***********************

When ********************** left our center stating that she found a center that would hire her and enroll her child, she immediately posted the original bad ****** review followed by a second bad review under her pseudonym "*****************." In reviewing other reviews posted by both "************" and **********************, it was evident that ********************** would be working for a close personal friend, and former employer of mine, as she posted a glowing review of **************************. These reviews were made public record. Making threats of police involvement because we read your previous PUBLIC reviews (not considered stalking) is making myself and my co-workers feel threatened and unsafe, so please do not contact myself or any member of my ********* more. Best of luck in your future employment endeavors and educational experiences with your family.

    Complaint: 20376088

First of all, If you read my ****** review then why do you keep on trying to contact me. Two weeks ago on my ****** review I stated "Please do not contact me as I do not wish to be contacted or to be threaten with attorneys as I also have my legal team aware of me voicing my first amendment. Thank you. Warmest Regards." I have contacted the authorities regarding this matter, as soon as it happened. If you felt unsafe or any of your staff felt unsafe they would've contacted the local authorities when the incident happened. I am the victim in this situation. DO NOT sit here and try to portray as you're afraid when all I have done was voice my first amendment. What your director did is unforgivable, unmoral, unethical ,and irresponsible. This issue is unsolved and it will not resolve. I called tabula rasa prior to filing a complaint with the BBB to resolve our differences and we got no where because they aren't capable of understanding nor have any compassion towards their customers. Now they are trying to say they are afraid after everything they have done to MY FAMILY, that is laughable. Now you want to contact authorities after I told you I already contacted them. Go ahead I have done nothing wrong ,but voice my first amendment what tabula rasa has done is outrages and to stand here and say you are afraid? I am flabbergasted. tabula rasa is the WORST!!! My complaint needs to stand BBB, I hope you can see what an awful company this is and how they didn't even try to solve my issue instead kept on attacking me over a ****** REVIEW. I already stated this 2 WEEKS AGO ,but maybe you have
