4/4/25 went into the *********, **. location to get a few items. As I got to the register taking the items off the hanger in front the cashier, the yellow tag fell off the skort. **** states she couldn't give it to me for half off but she could give it to me $4.94 blue tag which will be the price. I informed her she can keep all the $70 worth of items. I went to my car and called the number listed and got the main office and spoke with ********* who stated to go back in there and ask for the manager. I went back in and asked for the manager. **** stated that the manager was not there. Then I stated that the main office told me to ask for the manager. She turned around and asked how can she help me? I said so is it common to loose a over $70 sale over $2.50? She stated that was the policy. I asked what was her name and she said she wasn't telling me again. This is crazy. She watched me take the items from the basket. I have 8 screws iny back. This is insanity.

About a month ago i visited ******** thrift in ********, **. on ******************* . I'm a frequent thrift shopper, and former thrift employee. I enjoy spending my time going through each and every item and finding the best picks. On this day I was dressed a bit like a *** because I spent the night out. I spent hours in the store and upon sorting and pruning my items I was approached by an employee who, told me that I did not have money to pay for my items and that I WAS going to put them back on the rack before leaving. Typically, I have the utmost respect for all customer service workers but after that disrespectful spectical il left the clothes in the buggy, some on the floor and tell her that if she wanted customers to return, consider having more respect and not accusing people of something without evidence.9.9.24 Today I returned thinking that this incident was surely in the past. I had shopped there several times with nowishes and did not expect any more to come up. As I was preparing to check out once again, I was accosted by a different employee and told that I had been mentioned as someone who had given them problems and shoplifted before. I asked repeatedly to be shown evidence of this and he was unable to produce it. This was made to be a public spectacle with many shoppers looking on and listening to this interaction. Obviously.Discrimination and disrespect runs rampant in this store and possibly in the culture of the company.I am highly disappointed and have not seen any of the employees reprimanded in any ****** seems like this is going completely unchecked. And I hope that no one else has experienced this. But I am sure that I am not the only one. They allowed me to still check out at the end of all of this. As if anyone would have allowed a thief to purchase items and walk out of the store without calling the police ******** frankly I find this completely unacceptable and I Am disgusted by the lack of oversight or disciplinaryaction.

Date of transaction: 5/18/23 Amount paid: $48.08 I went thrifting at this Park Ave Thrift and they have a store policy posted on their front door 'no bags allowed, leave with cashier'. I have been to thrift stores in the past in other towns and states where they have this policy because of worry or past experiences of theft. I assumed this Park Ave Thrift store kept customers and personal belongings in a safe and secured place so theft doesn't happen or customer's belongings aren't stolen. I respected their rules and gave them my purse to keep at the register until I was done shopping and ready to pay. Thankfully, I kept my wallet and phone with me, when I finished shopping and paid for my new clothes. I informed the cashier, who I found out from associates she is the manager of the store; she admitted that she donated my purse because she mistaken me dropping off my purse to her as a donation instead of following the store's rules. There was a man who picked up two to three boxes of donations and walked off with my purse. She called him multiple times and no one answered, she also informed my fianc and I it was not their problem because I incorrectly gave it to her. We (my fianc and I) are livid because if they have 'a no purses allowed' policy, they should have asked me if it was a donation or if I was leaving my bag behind the counter so it can be in a secured place. I have valuable items inside my bag; my car keys, house key and various items ranging from my name tags for work and ********* items (prayer cards, medals, devotional books and rosaries, etc.). I am suspicious about this particular store, the sincerity of their business and rules of the store; especially because I have shopped at various Park Ave Thrift stores in different towns and this particular store in *********** is the first and only one I know that has a 'no purse policy'. I filed a police report with local police and made a case to get my bag and valuables back.
