    Between the dates of June 1, 2024 to August 1,2024, I contacted A- 1 Pools owner Joey to fix a pool pump. It is unclear what was paid for the first service, but he sent contractors out to fix the pump. Before they arrived, the pump was in working order, but would not actually filter the water through they system. They replaced some pipes and O-rings and the pump worked temporarily for about a period of 3 days pumping water and went down again.

    They were then called a second time in which this time he recommended that replacing the pump/motor would definitively solve the problem. On 08/01/2024 a check for the amount of $699.00 was paid for replacement of the pump/motor only. About three weeks later it went out again.

    As a paying customer, I was not given the courtesy of explanation. Joey continues to ignore my phone calls and text messages. I have called from different numbers and each time after he discovers who I am, will no longer respond. He stated that the pump was under warranty and would be replaced, but again will not respond or make me whole again. As stated earlier the pump was in better condition than before he began work on it.

    At this point my pump is no longer in working order. I would no longer want the rendering of any services by A-1 pools. Yet, what I would like is the $699 refunded as well as any other money paid for the first service as well. He may remove the motor he installed and take it back with him in exchange.

    I HAVE CHECKED MY CALL LOGS AND MR ***** HAS NOT TRIED TO CONTACT ME. I CALLED MR ***** TODAY (NO ANSWER) SO I TEXT HIM AND INFORMED HIM THAT HE HAS A 1 YR WARRANTY ON HIS PUMP AND WE WOULD BE GLAD TO REPLACE IT FREE OF CHARGE IF HE WOULD CALL US.
