I reached out to this company via the phone and spoke with a man named ***************************. I was told by *************************** that this company A and A was not a broker, that they owned the trucks and the drivers of the trucks worked for them. He also told me that they made 3 trips a week from ******* to *************. I was told by ******* that I would have to give a $150 deposit and pay the rest to the driver when the vehicle was delivered. I agreed and the date we agreed that the vehicle would be picked up either May 6th or May 7th. This was on May 5th. On May 7th I reached out to *************************** that the vehicle would be picked up either May 7th or 8th. On May 8th, I was told by ******* that it would be May 9th or 10th. I reached out to this person *************************** and asked what was going on. A few hours later, I was called by a woman named ****** and she told me that she was the supervisor and that I had to be patient and give them time to get the vehicle. I asked why is it that we had an agreed upon date and it wasn't being met. She then told me that the call was taking too long and she had to go and we hung up. This happened 3 or 4 more times. I kept getting different dates. Then about 10 days on May 15th or May 16th, I got a call from *************************** and he told me that if I agreed to pay another $300 that they could guaranteed that my vehicle would get on a truck the next day. I refused and I finally after 23 days later, talked to the driver who would be getting my vehicle and transporting it to me. The driver told me that he had just gotten the order a few days before he called me. He said that he in fact did not work for A and A Car Transport. I found out that A and A did not own the trucks that they were a broker. I asked both ****** and ******* why I was told that, but never got an answer. I want at least half of my money back as I was lied to from the start. I would never had hired A and A if I knew they were a broker.

      Business Response

      Date: 05/30/2025

      Good Afternoon,

There are some routes that take a little bit longer to dispatch, depending on season, traffic, weather and driver availabilty in the area. We give the customer the options to refund 100% of the deposit if we fail to pickup vehicle on contracted dates. Or if there willing to wait till we find a driver. If there is a price change we always ask customer first if they agree before we send a driver.
