I filed a statement of claim with ************************* Court in October 2023. The defendant never responded and didnt show up in court on May 21st. I reached out to get a copy or confirmation of them being served and found out the company never served them and didnt notify me. The person answering the email reply is very rude and taunted me on filing a complaint. The court needs to use a more reputable company and a professional one.

The complainant paid for a statement of claim to be served. We received the document from the Clayton County Magistrate ***** office.  We made our attempt at the address in the claim. The subject to be served was no longer at the address given. It is the responsibility of the plaintiff to provide the correct address for service. Once the statement of claim is either served or non-served, the affidavit is filed with the court clerks office. That we did properly. If the plaintiff provides the clerks office with an email in which to notify the plaintiff of completed service, then an automatic notice is sent out. We were not given any method to contact the plaintiff and neither were we authorized to do so.

Finally, we do not work for free. We did the job as required. At a discounted rate. (see our website at, www.disproservices.com)

I am rejecting this response because: the business is lying. I mailed in my payment with my address on the envelope. The address I provided was that from the lawyer that I had hired. As a consumer, I did my due diligence and as a business it is their job to notify their client properly. If I mailed you the payment, why didnt you mail my document saying the business is no longer at the address? Because I had to wait months and go to court and find out afterwards. How can you be professionals and not do what is in the best interest of the client? I would like a refund. I reviewed the affidavit and found they only attempted once and on the document it stated business doesnt accept instead of business not being at address. They put misleading information on the document and failed to notify me in a timely manner.

    Sincerely,

The document was filed with the courts. We did efile the affidavit and the plaintiff refused to go to the clerks office to obtain a copy. The bottom line is that once we efile the affidavit, it is the clerk's office responsibility to notify the parties. It is also the parties responsibility to obtain the information from the courts where the document is filed. At the address given by the plaintiff, we were told that they do not accept service of process. Many if not most businesses have registered agents who are responsible for accepting service. It is not the responsibility of the process serving company to find the proper address.

We have provided the service required by the courts. It is very interesting that the plaintiff did not make a complaint with the courts. If she has proof that we did not do what is required of us then we would be happy to refund the fee paid. The job was completed properly. We went to the address the she provided. The documents could not be served there. She should have requested information from the clerk's office where she filed the case long before now. If we did anything illegal or not allowed, we would have to answer to the courts.

Again, we did the job properly. The complainant wants to obtain free service. Successful businesses don't work for free.

I am rejecting this response because:
Their responses are all false. I dont refuse to go the ************** I reached out to Discrete Professionals right after court on May 21st asking for the Affidavit. I found out then that it could be obtained from the ************* and I explained that I dont live there and traveled for my court. It was then I found out they never served and only attempted once. I would like a refund due to them not properly notifying me. Im the client not the clerk. I didnt want to use them, the court recommended them. There was nothing discussed stating they would only attempt one, they wouldnt notify me, and that although Im paying its the Clerks responsibility to update me on the status. I want a refund and I want this complaint to be public on what type of business this is.

    Sincerely,
