Date of Transaction: January 29, 2025 Take 5 Oil Change Store #*************************************************************************************************** I visited Take 5 Oil Change to receive a standard oil change. The service was expected to include draining and replacing my vehicles engine oil, changing the oil filter, and ensuring my car was properly maintained. Since the oil change, my car has been sluggish and leaking oil, raising serious concerns about whether the service was performed correctly. On Saturday, I called the shop for assistance, but no one answered. On Sunday, I spoke with a store associate who said they needed to review security footage to confirm whether the oil change was properly conducted. On Monday morning, I received a call from a man named ***, who claimed to be acting as my "Case Manager." I explained that my car was not drivable, and my plan was to have it towed to my mechanic.*** stated that, according to company policy, if I got a diagnostic from my mechanic, Take 5 would not assume responsibility. Instead, he said he would come to my home at 9 AM on Tuesday, to perform his own diagnostic and bring a quart of oil just in case. *** never showed up. When I called the shop for an ETA, he did not answer. However, when my mother called moments later, *** picked up immediately, making it seem like I was being deliberately avoided. I have tried calling the shop multiple times and even reached out to corporate customer service. However, I have not received any resolution or acknowledgment of responsibility. ***, who initially agreed to come inspect my vehicle, failed to follow through, leaving me stranded with a potentially damaged vehicle. I am seeking a full refund of the amount I paid for the oil change and for the business to cover any necessary repairs if it is determined that the oil change caused damage to my car. Additionally, I would like Take 5 to be held accountable for their failure to provide proper customer service and avoid this happening to others in the future.
