    07/06/2023 Paid amount of $3800 per receipt for condenser, zone board, controls and wiring, then new heat pump, condenser, zone board and wiring. 2 thermostat.Complaint- major code violations Contractor installed an air unit in complete violation of codes and apparently incompatible with furnace. Rendering heating inoperable. Exposed wires, outside unit not on a concrete surface . 2 other contractors notated contractor violations to a tune of $2500-3k to fix. Desired outcome would be to pay $2600 for the cost to get my unit operable. Contractor not seeing a new zone board installed. Contractor has reported license is suspended apparently for other infractions.

    Acclaimed Indoor Air Services Inc has been operating since 2012, predomonitly a home warranty repair service company. We have NEVER had a BBB complaint ever. We have been closed for business since October. No business or workers. In response to the incident in question, the Equipment provided is under warranty meaning any company can come repair damaged parts. Homeowner only has to pay for trip charge/Labor. We DID NOT replace thermostat or electrical wiring..$2-3k refund is unheard of.

    !) I know the company is  not in business because the Tech/owner lost his license because of code violations. He texted me and told me as much. 

    2) new thermostats were added with cost of service I submit pics and its on the receipt he wrote. The issue is not with the the Thermostats or unit working properly its how they were installed improperly. I had to pay someone else to do the job properly. Again the tech violated codes for incompatible units that cost me money to fix properly and pictures were submitted to show that. Also wires were left exposed on back of the out ac unit which another company had to cover and install the unit on concrete flat service. 

    3) primary reason for action was over $2k was spent to update the installation of other components because AC should not have been replaced without doing a whole system not partial. A LISCENSED repair person would have known not to do this, there it cause be a lot more do correct later on because of the incompatibility.

    Good day. Homeowner did not disclose the Equipment installed operated for months( entire Summer) in a/c mode AFTER tech operated system in heat mode to test system installation, which by ** law is all that's required. So wire hanging out could have happened anytime by anyone in those months. Furthermore, (Also Homeowner was offered an anual maintenance preventative maintenance plan) Tech came out once to replace a fuse in the winter and diagnosed one of the thermostats was in HEAT mode and the upstairs on AC mode which overloaded the system. The next call weeks later business was closed. In the complaint, there's No Pics of Equipment missing,  New Equipment installed but have a $2k Bill due. BEFORE Pics as in before anything is done to correct a Issue.We are standing behind GA laws since the whole truth was not told.

    For the record,  We are out of business, however we have never had a complaint in ******************************** had liscense/certifications suspended.

    The resolution is not satisfactory. Im tired of wasting my time ON  this and Im going to let Karma do its justice. 2 companies verified that there was code violations. Now I dont know enough about heating and air to determine that on my own accord, so why would I make these accusation up and I sent the photos too. Also the  business owner texted me and told me his license was suspended due code violations,  so someone must have complained about  his work somewhere in order for his license to GET  suspended.  I want this to continue be a negative reflection of his business performance and I have complained officially thru the other channels, but if he out of business its not going to make a difference anyway.
