I purchased a Trane split air conditioning system from ******* ********************** but he installed RunTru and American Standard units instead. He insists they are Trane units because ***** manufactures the parts. I did not agree to these alternate units and Mr. ********************** never discussed them with me. I specifically asked to have a Trane unit replace the Trane unit I had. Mr. ********************** agreed to this but delivered something else. If I were to sell my home, I could not tell any prospective buyer that the air system is a Trane, primarily because it is not, but also, the units have RunTru and American Standard names on them, not Trane. Example: If I buy a ***** but get delivered a similar model ******, just because ****** makes both vehicles doesn't mean I got a ****** And if I drive down the street, it will be recognized as a ******, not a ****** Mr. ********************** consistently delayed giving me information on the units until they were installed. I'm sure he knew I would refuse alternate products. I was to be on a payment plan with him but he declined talking about it until after installation. Then, he wanted the balance or large payments, which I cannot do. Because Mr. ********************** would not discuss a payment plan (and he refused my offer of $300 per month for one year), there is none. He made one up on his May 9 invoice, which I never agreed to. He has tried to force me into accepting it by threatening me and my family, and has threatened to take the units from my home, which would be acts of criminal trespass and burglary. As a senior citizen, I do not want to be involved with Mr. ********************** and his bullying. I want a Trane system or a refund, and Mr. ********************** can have his units, however, because of his threats, I will have to hire someone else to take his units out, and install the Trane unit that was agreed upon, AT HIS EXPENSE. He cannot come on to my property.
