      My neighbor referred me to m&w heating. She told me that they didn't charge a service fee for coming out to diagnose the problem so I have them a call. When scheduling the appt, they never mention anything about a service charge and told me they can have someone out the following day. I was not at home when the tech came but my uncle was there. I was at work. The tech called me and made me aware of the problem and said that it will be over $1500 to fix the problem. I told them I will have to call them back on that to get that fix because I don't have that kind of money and they said ok. They still never mention a service charge. It wasn't until over about 9wks later I received a text message that I had an invoice due of $110. Then I recieve a text today saying I'm good faith they need to be paid. I think it is very wrong for them to not tell me when scheduling the appt that they charge service fee. Then wait two months later to tell me I owe them. I am aware that there are companies that charge but they will tell you up front. I would like for this company to drop the bill and also make ppl aware that there is a service fee upfront and also for them to stop texting my phone.

      The service call was for "No Heat".  Our tech went and evaluated the heat issue and a quote was given for repair, and she is correct in that she said she did not have that kind of money at the time.  An invoice was generated for the Diagnostic and the invoice has been emailed and texted on numerous occasions, of which emails have been opened so they were received (Please see attached Email log).   We are a service company, to diagnose a heat/cool issue comes at a cost to us.  Quotes for replacement of equipment are free, but not a service call for a specific issue at hand.

      I am rejecting this response because: I was not made aware that there would be a service charge  when scheduling service. The tech came out on ******* **, 2022 and didn't even mention a service charge at all. He only mention cost of repair. As you can see the invoice was dated ******* **,2022. The tech came out ******* **, 2022. I never received anything about an invoice until they sent a text on ******** ***2022 stating that I owe them. They are very unprofessional. They did not send anything to my email as well. The two documents I provided are the same two documents I provided as well, they were no numerous occasions they sent me anything. If they charge a service charge M& W should have said that at the time on the phone when I scheduled the appointment service. Instead this company did not, they came out the next day while I was not at home. Gave me a call and told me the price would be over $1500. I told them I would could them when I'm ready for them to do the repair. Even then, the tech did the mention anything about a service charge. It is very wrong of them to text me with a bill attached almost two months later stating I owe them when I wasn't aware from the start at all. I would appreciate if they waive the bill because that is not how you do business at all.
