    I hired L Davis Design and its owner, ***** Davis to oversee renovations of my condo located at ******************************************************. The work performed was incomplete, inadequate, and significantly below the standards expected from a professional contractor. Davis provided a faulty agreement outlining the scope of work to be completed in my condo. Unfortunately, the majority of the tasks were left unfinished forcing me to hire another contractor to complete the work that had been promised and paid for. Davis committed to installing a new walk-in bathtub which I never received. The closet doors were improperly sized, there were holes in various doors, and many other elements of the renovation were left incomplete. There were problems with toilet functionality including improper flushing, a leak in both bathrooms, and issues with the bathroom shower k*** falling off. Televisions were not hung, mirrors were not installed, and the promised furniture delivery never materialized. Despite multiple attempts to contact ***** Davis, he has not taken any action to rectify these issues. The project exceeded the initial budget by a significant amount. Each situation resulted in an additional expense of $25,000 to $30,000, causing undue financial strain and further dissatisfaction. The timeline provided by L Davis Design for completion was severely disregarded. What was meant to be a 3 to 5 day delivery of chairs stretched to 31 days. Additionally, what was supposed to be a 45 day delivery of other furniture items, resulted in a 3 1/2 month delivery. As a result of the delay I ended up having to cancel the complete order as I had already purchased furniture for my guests who arrived during the time frame of the delay. I requested to be reimbursed for the canceled order due to ***** Davis negligence, but was met with anger and hostility. Despite the numerous issues and incomplete work, ***** Davis has refused to refund the money paid for the unfulfilled services and failed promises.
