    I believe I have a responsibility to inform the BBB of the poor treatment of tenants (me) at Terrace Apartments,  Management companies have changed a minimum of 6 times in the three years I've lived here. Although the building is protected as a historical building, the treatment of the people inside the building should also be protected. So, I had a thermostat hanging from the wall because companies changed

    Working washers and dryers should be added to the amenities, since most of the time the machines don't work. I have a gas stove with rusted holes and gas leakage (although not enough to be considered 'dangerous').

    The ceiling fans hung from loose wires in the ceiling for over a year. When maintenance finished, there was one less ceiling fan in the apartment (which is definitely needed), and one that was installed in the bedroom that looks like a teenager installed it.

    During storms, I've had several window panes fall from the window. Because the class they used was not treated, the sun came into my apartment and shined on a mirror that actually started a fire in my apartment! I have pictures! I am currently looking at more blue painting tape on another window! Nobody is in a hurry to fix it, in spite of it being winter.

    We all had to evacuate the building because maintenance put up a sheet of plastic behind the dryers! Ironically, the dryers were working at the time.

    Currently, a high-pitch CONSTANT tone is going off in our hallway. I requested maintenance (also completing a request online). Maintenance staff are currently temps. We all have to deal with the excruciating sound for the long weekend! I have to stay in my bedroom with the doors closed in order to avoid hearing the piercing sound. I even explained to them that I have a seizure disorder and the tone can trigger seizures. No reply, nothing!

    If I could, of course I'd move out. I was charged $100 for being late on the rent, in spite of the missing glass!

    It is a non-smoking, historically protected building that now reeks of cannabis! Yelling and screaming and slamming doors. Toilet pressure is almost zero. Another glass pane is still missing and covered with blue painter tape. It is a horrible place to live, and I'll be moving at the end of May.
