    I brought my car to this place to fix an issue, once I paid for everything I was told it was a different issue and that my money paid for parts and labor. Now I’m being told I need a new engine and that he’s starting to charge storage fees.

    On ****/23 Customer ****** ******** had his vehicle towed to my shop ** **** ***** *** i had spoken with him prior about performing a diagnostic on the vehicle based upon the information he had giving me saying it ran hot once. After getting it in the shop and assessing the issue, we recommended a water pump replacement with thermostat and a CV axle replacement. We quoted the parts and labor at 1233 and due to it being over 500 we ask all customers to pay half of the bill upfront to secure the parts. Mr. ******** came in on *****23 and was supposed to pay 616.50 but instead head only paid 388 for parts and repairs. Only because I knew him from working with him before I agreed to get started and he would pay the rest of the deposit the following week. When we called him with an update on his vehicle within that week and told him that those things didn't fix the issue and that he could possibly have a blown head gasket, he asked me to quote up the price to fix it. The quote was higher than he intended due to having a balance for the work that had already been performed and he still had not paid for. After explaining this to him, he said he would be in to pay the remainder. He never came to pay it and soon stop answering phone calls. I ended up reaching out to him months after and told him that after having to break the ending completely down I found out why the vehicle had a blown head gasket and told him that I recommend a motor replacement and if he decided to do it, I would wash the previous balance that was owed, and we could start fresh with the motor replacement. He agreed to do that and i told him we needed the full deposit for the motor which was 1000. Time went by and once again I did not see him or hear from him. I last reached out on *** *** 2024, and told him that I was going to start charging storage if he didn't come get it by that following Friday. March ***** I started storage fees and as of today the vehicle is still here and I've begun taking legal action. It's almost been a year and he only have a month worth of storage fees along with and outstanding balance that I had once washed away. I have gone above and beyond to work with this individual. There is nothing more I can do. I will not be refunding any money due to that money being spent on the parts on his cars. I also have some of my own money in the car now due to him not paying the first deposit in full.
