    Got a room for the night just for sleep and a shower after driving 10 hours seeking refuge from Hurricane Milton. Was told smoking room was all they had left. Overnight was only a few cars in parking lot so looked almost empty. When you walked in the room, the smell of smoke was very overpowering. The floor was so dirty it was sticky. The blankets were also sticky and had cigarette holes in them. The mattress had nasty stains. There was an area next to the bed where brown splatter was on the floor and the wall. It looked like ********. The chairs had stains. The bathroom was filthy. We encountered many bugs in the room. We were charged a pet fee also even though this room was disgusting, filthy, sticky and stunk. The wifi was so slow I could not use it. I am requesting a full refund.

    On the day this guest arrived, they called the hotel at this time we were nearly full because of hurricane Milton, the guest called in before arriving and requested a room, we mentioned that we were booked up and the only room available a the time was a smoking room. As the guest arrived she checked the room to see if she wanted it or not and she said she will take it. She payed for one single pet charge but they didn't inform us that there were 2 pets in the room. After that the guest did not return to express any of the concerns they had mentioned in their complaints.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    the statement that i inspected the room is false.  i was told it was the only room available and it was smoking.  i was not aware of all the disgusting interior of the room until after checking in and being in the room.  i did tell the front desk i had two small dogs with me.  not one time upon check out did anyone ask me how my stay was or how the room was.  i have photographs of the room to document how gross it was and they should reimburse me because nothing about this room was clean.

    I checked out probably between 930am and 10am.  I was not asked about the quality of my stay.  I was so exhausted and disgusted, I just wanted out of there.  No one should pay for a room that disgusting.
