    Wed March 6, met with Michael C****** owner of Gable Masters Roofing regarding roof, extra $300 for Certainteed w 30 year warranty. Trust me, I will handle everything. Next day, we agreed on ***** ******** bc it had lifetime warranty and was class 3 insurance discount. "Better than Certainteed, lifetime warranty, stronger backing" in his opinion as an installer and contractor.He also woud provide a 7 year workmanship warranty. I tendered $5,800 to him in good faith and he bought all materials the following day and he purchased the shingles and supplies. I asked about the other materials, and he said its all taken care of, no need to discuss, shingles and crew 7:30 a.m. Crew arrived together in one vehicle. No English. Shingles arrived. No m.C******. Finally arrived after eating ********, left again at approx 9:27, until around 12:20 when he dropped off ice and water for extra $380 Then disappeared -materials , pickup crew, flat tire. He was back s there at 12:13 , but left again at 12:35. Crew lacked materials still, multiple calls, crew caused damage Wrong vents installed, gutters damaged, shingles wet prior to and after install, failed to repace decking / reinforce. Underlayment improper install. Mass confusion. 9:30 p.m. called stating second half of funds due, crew needs to be paid. Told him glad to pay, woud like to see. rain may ruin unset unsealed uncured shingles/ roll roofing. Next day,Roof was sagging, work incomplete,no fan vent, roll roof uneven,flashing horrid, wrong sealants,rear incomplete. M.C. called a man to apply bandaids, and again demanded funds. i requested completion and paperwork/ warranty. Tendered additional $1380. He quits & sendto "Real owner,"who also bailed., Both are aware of fraud since materials used were not *****. No manufacturer warranty. Install error is obvious.Roof is poorer condition than initially. Request full refund/ proper install, Fraud case ongoing,civil & criminal, Other roofers unavailable, mitigate dmge.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    2 roofers have looked at the roof, both have declined, the roof is leaking and i have suffered additional damage. You should be ashamed of yourself and have caused me a great deal of property damage including my gutters which you do not dispute. Your complete failure to address this for over 6 weeks is an embarrassment. It is not my wish to harm your business as you have harmed my property, and you have caused me great distress. You are fully aware that this roof is far below the average standards & know its a total disaster. I would have accepted the offer if you had not done a job far beliw code. Refund my money, i will get a new roof. You have further offered to fix it but only if i tender 2k the minute you arrive on the property, and 2k the same day. If only it were that simple. You have not even shown the courtesy of communication, inspection, nor offered to fix my gutters. I can not forgive this type of behavior unless you wish to act in a cordial, responsible manner. If so, i will give you the opportunity to fix it properly with a proper crew, foreman and proper materials as was promised. Your behaviour is unlawful and fraudulent. I hope to work this out.

    A whimsical one line reply after extensions to answer is not a good faith effort to resolve this complaint. In fact, the reply is fraudulent since the second half of the funds were due upon completion. The job remains incomplete; hence they were paid more than due. Gable Masters caused other damages which they have admitted. Example: damage to gutters, damage from leaks due to failure to replace rotten roofing deck, failure to appropriately flash chimney.  Sincerely,
