    Dear Better Business Bureau,
    I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against K&S Construction * ******* ** **** ************** *** *** ******* ** . The experience I have had with this company during my recent home renovation project has been nothing short of a nightmare.
    In March 2024, I entered into a contract with K&S Construction for a complete renovation of Living Room, Kitchen and Flooring. The project was estimated to take less than two months, with a completion date of May 6, 2024. The total cost agreed upon was $27,000. I paid an initial deposit of 2,000 then 10,000 on March 18 & April 24, 2024.
    The problems began immediately:
    Project Delays: Despite the clear timeline, the contractor failed to start the project on the agreed-upon date. There were constant delays. Work often halted for weeks at a time, leaving my home in disarray.
    Poor Quality of Work: When work did occur, the quality was abysmal. I have had to hire additional professionals to correct these mistakes, incurring additional costs of $18,000.
    Unprofessional Behavior: The workers often left my home in a state of chaos, with debris and materials scattered everywhere. On multiple occasions, they left my home unsecured, with doors & windows left wide open. Communication with the contractor, Secretary ( Dollie and Jennifer) in reference to the situation was without resolution.
    Incomplete Work: As of 05/24/2024, the project remains unfinished. Critical aspects of the renovation were left unfinished.
    This situation has caused me significant financial strain and emotional distress.
    I am seeking the BBB’s assistance in resolving this matter. Specifically, I request:
    A partial refund of the amount paid, totaling $13,000.00.
    Compensation for the undue stress and inconvenience caused by their unprofessional conduct.
    I hope that by bringing this matter to your attention, we can prevent other consumers from experiencing the same ordeal.
