      My husband and I filed our 2024 taxes using Davis Ford Tax Group LLC in Macon GA. He picked up the completed forms after he was told they were complete. I reviewed the forms when he brought them home and identified several extremely concerning errors. I brought them to my husband's attention and he called the office. The gentleman spoke with me, I told him about the errors and requested an amendment. He stated that he would not do the amendment until after the tax season ended.

      He also stated that he had been doing taxes for years and military retirement was not taxable. I knew that to be false, as I had already verified the information on the IRS website.

      As soon as April 15th passed we physically went to the office and was told that the tax season was extended and they would not be doing amendments until after that. My husband said he was also told that they would be on vacation immediately following the end of the tax season, and would not be available until after vacation and services would be by appointment only. We have made countless phone calls and left many messages regarding the need to have the obvious mistakes corrected. I have also texted the cell phone number on the business card my husband got from the business and received zero response to date. Each day that passes by we are accruing interest and possibly fines. We will be forced to go elsewhere and pay additional costs to correct erroneous amounts input on the tax forms.
