This incident took place on June 18th between eleven and noon. I am a contracted delivery driver, I deliver auto parts to different businesses. On this day, I had to deliver some heavy parts to this particular business. Knowing that these parts were heavy I asked one of the attendants, that was outside for some help bringing them in. When I asked him, he agreed to help me and directed me to pull behind a parked black truck that was in there bay being worked on. I did as I was instructed and parked my car, got out my car and proceeded to hand him the auto parts. In the midst of me doing this, another one of the attendants was inside the black truck. While I was handing off the last part, the black truck rear ended me from the front and cracked my bumper in half as well as cracked the grill too. So immediately when this happened, the attendant who was in the truck hopped out the truck and apologized. The manager of the store came outside and saw the damage that was done to my car. The manager asked me what happened and I explained to him what took place. After, I spoke my peace he then said his business was not at fault for the damages because I should not have parked there. I then said to him there wasn't anywhere else to park, because at that time there was a red truck parked in the front of the business haphazardly and I explained again, that his attendant was helping me to get the parts out and instructed me that it was okay to park there. Given, that the black truck that hit my car was parked and I was behind it. He proceeded to speak to me in a condescending tone, and said his business wasn't liable for damages and refused to give me his business's insurance information. I am very upset about this matter, and appalled at the way the manager of the store handled everything. This is not how a matter such as this should have been handled. No apology was given, no insurance was given, and I was spoke to as if I was a child. All I was doing, was my job.
