In Reference to the above complaint I traveled to **** **** ***** to inspect  MR. ******'s vehicle. After talking to the service manager who showed us the vehicle we lifted the vehicle up by a wheel lift tow truck to inspect the driveshaft. Upon inspection the driveshaft is not bent in anyway but the heat shield is rubbing against the driveshaft and making the noise. I questioned why the vehicle was abandonded but could not  get a answer **** **** was unaware of any issuses except dead batteries. I have spoke to  MR. ****** and advised him as well that no damage was done to the drive shaft. Fell free to contact me with any other questions.

Ackerman towing dropped off an inoperable vehicle to my residence on ********* *** 2023. The tow truck driver dropped a non-operable vehicle in the middle of my driveway which has created a safety hazard. The inoperable vehicle was dropped off in such a manner that no other vehicle can enter the driveway. If there was a medical emergency at my residence the emergency vehicle/crew would be unable to get to us due to the actions of the Ackerman driver.

There are codes in the state of Georgia that outline the responsibilities of a tow truck driver. This driver failed to abide by any code. If this one driver didn't abide by the codes one can only think GA codes are not enforced by this tow company.

My husband and I both reached out to Ackerman to discuss the issue and were immediately met with condescending remarks. We asked Ackerman to come back out to place the vehicle in a safe location and in turn we were told they would charge us $75.00 to move the vehicle less than three feet. My husband and I have no issue with paying for their services but $75.00 is exorbitant and is on the side of price gauging. Ackerman is practicing unfair and deceptive acts. As a Georgia consumer, we are protected by the Fair Business Practices Act, which Ackerman towing is in clear violation. I understand Ackerman may be jaded due to the volume of calls they receive regarding vehicles they have towed whether involuntarily or voluntarily. I am only asking that Ackerman do the right thing. It appears Ackerman feel as if they are untouchable due to the contract they have with the city. Therefore, they take advantage of the everyday citizen.

We are sincerely sorry for your disappointment in our companies
    service.
We provided the service as this customer requested and the
customer that requested the service was not at the location to advise as to
were they would have liked the vehicle to be placed. How ever there was a man
that came out of the home and advised our driver to place the vehicle in the
driveway stating he would move it later. He then returned into the home to retrieve
the payment for the towing service and returned and paid the driver.  At that time our requested services had been
completed appropriately. We are sincerely sorry for your disappointment in the service
    we provided.
We strive to provide great service to all of our customers.
