A 2nd Chance ********* was recommended to ** by a family friend, whos also a bail bondman in *****. We paid my sisters bond at 8:12pm on 3/8while eating dinner in *******, **. We were REASSURED by **************** that once paperwork was completed, **** paid, it would get WALKED ACROSS THE STREET TO THE ***** Mind you, were in/reside in ** whereas my sister resides in GA, so we had to commute (6.5hrs to get there to pick her up & meet the lawyer). Everything was DONE (on our end) prior to arriving in GA at 4:52am on 3/9. While on the road driving to GA, we called the jail at 12:32am, to check the status of her release & spoke to the officer in bonding & was advised NO BOND HAD BEEN PAID/POSTED for my sister. We then called back to A 2nd Chance Bail Bond and was told ******** went to get something to eat & would give us a call back, which never happened. Mind you, she had to pass the jail to get food! Per the officer at the jail, bonding is closed to the public at ************* could take 24hrs from the time paperwork is received before she would be released. THIS COMPANY HAD ALMOST 4 HOURS TO DO WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE BEFORE THE CUTOFF TIME AT THE **** & FAILED TREMENDOUSLY! There is NO WAY we shouldve gotten to GA BEFORE her bond was taken across the street. We rested for every bit of an hour & a half, before heading up to A 2nd Chance Bail Bonds, to speak with them about my sisters bail not being posted the night before. ******** was there & gave numerous excuses, ***** wasnt there initially but when he did arrive, he had a REALLY bad attitude, no apology, nor resolution as to WHY this wasnt done PRIOR to the jail closing at midnight the night before. I would NOT recommend A 2nd Chance Bail Bond at ************************** C to a fruit fly. No, theyre NOT professional. No, theyre NOT quick. No, theyre NOT reliable. Dont walk away from themR U N as fast you can to a different bonding company!
