If you want an honest provider then please look elsewhere.I got a bill in the mail for a "procedure" that was done. I called the office because I thought they made a mistake. They said they would look into it and asked for confirmation that they could communicate with me via email regarding the results. They emailed me that the "procedure" was done and what it was. I called back because the doctor I saw, Dr. ********************** Ingley, never told me she was going to do a procedure, never asked if she could do a procedure, and never got permission from me to do a procedure. Turns out she was also supposed to get a consent form signed that she never did.I call them back and ask them to open an investigation into this. They said they would and would be in touch. This was in March.Fast-forward to August and I get a note from a collector saying the bill was due. I have no email communications from them since March, so they made no effort to reach out or communicate with the patient about the status of the investigation (probably because it would reveal what really happened which was zero communication about any procedure with the patient, zero approval, etc.). I call back to find out that this is a regular occurrence, that they have tried to ask the doctors to communicate better with patients about what's actually being done, that apparently the notes on my file talk about a number of things that were done during my visit that I am just hearing about for the first time now. They just do things do patients without their consent (or even simply telling them what's happening) and charge them for it. I have never felt so betrayed by a medical professional. I was completely conscious and able to communicate, but never was I told a procedure was happening or asked if they had approval to do it. There are many other ENTs out there with integrity who actually care about their patients, are honest with their patients, and don't try to ******* their patients.
