I applied for a job and had a check ran in me . The check came back stating my license did not match and they belonged to someone else . This is ridiculous, I have had my license since 1985 , And recently obtained my Class A CDL . How can they establish it as the wrong person. This is unacceptable . How many others have they done this too . I will be filing a complaint with the BBB immediately.

Thank you Mr. **** for your review. Unfortunately, the information submitted to InfoMart, specifically your driver's license number, was inaccurate. There was one digit that was off from what is correctly on your license. When the wrong number was submitted, we correctly reported that it didn't match the information contained at the ***. It looks like we were able to correct this for you the day after you submitted this review, after you spoke with our Applicant Advocate Team and provided them with your correct license number. Hopefully your interaction with them was a positive one, and everything worked out in the end. If there are any other ways that we can be of assistance, please feel free to reach out.

They asked me for contact information to verify employment multiple times. Ive sent in the same references multiple times. They said, based off of your statement below, you do not work for ********** which is completely absurd to say because it is a joint organization that me and my spouse run. I gave them the numbers they requested but somehow they called a different club with a similar name and assumed it was the club I worked for. Yet theyre speaking so boldly towards me as to what I do or dont do for the company.

**********************, I am sorry for the confusion with respect to this employment verification. In instances where we are not provided with contact information (in this instance, neither of the two businesses referenced were provided with phone numbers initially), our team members work to find contact info as best we can. Coincidentally, there was another entity that shared the name of the club you worked for, creating even more confusion. It appears that this has all been resolved and the verifications are completed. I will say that I don't believe that anyone intended to speak boldly towards you, rather they intended to relay the information that we were or weren't able to ascertain at that point in time.

My background check was conducted for pre-employment at the ********************************** Group (also headquartered in **) The check was intentionally ambiguous, and my job offer was rescinded. InfoMart provided as little detail as necessary stating just the charge and the penalty. While in some criminal proceedings, this information may be deemed sufficient, in my specific instance and for the specific charge: "Resisting or obstructing an ********************************** failed to differentiate between a level A misdemeanor and a level H misdemeanor. The former is a non-physical, non-violent offense, while the latter is the opposite. ****, while I've passed several other background checks, this background check alluded to the fact that I had a person-to-person crime. Thus, the job offer was withdrawn three days into my tenure and without pay.

********************, thank you for your review. I can assure you that the information we provide is anything but intentionally ambiguous, as we have no vested interest in preventing anyone from obtaining employment. In this instance, we received the reported information and did not have any indication that the case was Class A or ************* said, we are more than happy to update the profile to reflect the charge's Class A status and can provide the updated profile to the client. In addition, we have a dedicated ********** of ********* Advocates that are available to assist you in any other areas you may have concerns about with respect to your consumer report and they can be reached at ************.
