    I hired mr.********************** as my attorney in a custody dispute case for my son, and paid him $7500 in the summer of 2019. Over the next few years, there was no development in my case. Mr.******************** never even entered himself as my attorney with the courts. I had to take days off of work to go to the clerk of courts office and get all of the info pertaining to my case due to this. I again had to take another day off of work to go to the dfcs office as well, when i contacted his office (his paralegal, *******) to let him know that there was no dfcs office anymore due to covid, i never received a call back. As was the case almost every time I called and has also been the case for the entire year that I have been trying to get my money back. At one point I was signing up for a parenting class and asked him if I had chosen the right one, and sent him the info about it. He said yes that was fine but it turned out that class was not accepted by the county my case was in. At one point during all this my sons grandparents sent a form for me to sign, I sent it to mr. ******************** and he did agree that i could sign it. That and the few phone calls we had are all that was done in the course of 3 yrs. Again, in that 3 yrs he never even entered himself as my attorney so Im not sure how i can owe him any money, however when I called his office about getting my money back after i got a new attorney and let him know i no longer needed his services, ******* informed me that he would have to let me know how much of my money i would be getting back after he deducted the things he had done for me. My new attorney has done so much more in one year than mr. ********************** even came close to in 3 yrs. over the past year when i have called about this, i keep getting told (*******) that mr ********************** will get back to me about the matter. However, just like with my case I am yet to hear back from him at all. $7500 is alot of money and i have given him plenty of time to get it back to me. But its going nowhere, please help me.
