On March 22, 2025, I booked a move from **, ** to *******, **. After an absolutely awful experience on moving day, I did some research & found that per the ********************************* Atlas is "NOT authorized to transport or arrange the transportation of Household Goods." Also, they completely misrepresented the nature of this move:- Utilizing the Atlas name is misleading to the consumer. My research shows that Atlas ********* has filed a lawsuit against them for trademark infringement.- Atlas gave us a written binding estimate of $2,750 ($1,350 deposit, $700 at pick up & $700 at delivery) They estimated the volume of the move was 331 cu ft. I measured all furniture & boxes & calculated that we had 326 cu ft, so the estimate was close. The amount I ended up paying was $5,100 ($1,350 deposit, $3k at pickup & $750 at delivery), which is an 85%+ increase over the amount of my binding estimate. - Atlas' told us that the things that make their company better are: our load would only be shared with only 1 other family, & that it would not go into storage & not change vehicles like other companies. False, our load was put into storage & changed trucks at least once.- I was assured that there would be no charge in the pickup location. We were charged $300 for stairs. Even if you adhere to 7 steps equals a "flight" of stairs, we were overcharged $182.14.- Atlas contracted with ******** to move the household goods. The bill of lading was included in our initial paperwork beginning. However, when moving day came, & I called, they did not help enforce the amount agreed upon. In fact, when I finally reached their representative he hung up on us.- ******** charged us for packing materials $739.60. Our contract specifically stated that packing materials are included - Also, there were a few damaged items upon delivery I called and emailed Atlas for resolution and received not response. They have all documentation from me.Initial Complaint

We hired Atlas Movers Group for a cross-country move from ******** to ****************. The salesman who reached out to me discussed pricing and asked us to do a FaceTime meeting so we could get an accurate pricing. Our contract was for $8900 and we were told we needed to pay $4000 up front and $1900 on pickup and $1900 on delivery. They communicated well with us up to the day of the move. I asked them prior to pickup if they were a direct mover or a broker. ******* told me they were a mover and outsource every rare occasion. The day of the move a moving company showed up and said it would be $24,000 and demanded $10,000 up front. I called Atlas over and over and over again but conveniently they ignored me. Finally someone named ***** said he was going to work with the moving company and Atlas higher *** to help offset the cost that literally tripled. We actually had LESS stuff the day of the move then originally quoted so this was insane to us. Atlas to this day has not returned our calls or helped us in anyway besides ripping us off for $4300. I called the ************* and they said Atlas was just shut down by the state and shouldnt be conducting any business. *******************. Trash humans. These people took from my children and swindled my whole family. Now we are dealing with a moving company they hired who is just as bad.Initial Complaint

we signed a contract to move our household items (the whole house) from *****, ** to **********, IN on Dec 23, 2023. Atlas agreed to move them safely and without misplacing any items. But they lost lot of kitchen items, clothes, valuable artifacts at the delivery time in April, 2024. When we approach about the missing items, Atlas said that the third party movers (Super Movers) that Atlas hired to move our stuff is no longer in business with them so, they can't do anything and asked us to file a claim with Super Movers. Super Movers are not responding at all to our claims. Atlas was the company that put us in this situation and they are not willing to take any responsibility of the lost items.Initial Complaint

I went online looking for movers with a reasonable quote for moving my household goods from ***********, ******* to *****************, *******. I got a call from ****** a broker from Atlas Mover Group LLC on Dec !******. I was given an original quote of $6726.50 based on inventory I gave him over the phone. T continue with the contract, I Paid deposit of $3097.50. On 1/6/2025, a ***** ****** called me and wanted to go over the contract & the cost of the move and gave him an update of articles listed on the Bill of Lading. He changed the total amount to$37,253.50 as I have the copy of the Contract with my notes scribbled on it, because I didn't have anything to write on at the time I was speaking with him. He asked me to pay $1680 more. When movers came on 1/8/25, Rotem Aviad the driver of the truck had 6 other guys to help him pack & load the truck. Before they were done, he asked if I could pay him $10,000 to pay his guys. I obliged and my husband withdrew $10,000 cash and gave it to him.(See receipt). As the day progress I spoke with *********** said if I pay the full amount now that will will even get a bigger discount from the the amount final Bill of Lading. He changed amount to $87,777.50. I don't understand why the big difference. I told him I want a copy of the final Billing Called my bank to wire that amount but I have to come into the branch personally. Since my branch is in ********** I had to write a letter with my handwritten signature before they release the funds. Rotem eagerly took my letter to ***** for overnight delivery to my bank. They said they will subtract that from my total. Then they asked me to pay Rotem $24,00 as the driver. I gave him 3 personal checks with $8k each. My HHG was delivered to us on 1/14/25. I've been calling & texting ***** ever since and even called *****, the broker. I was told that ****** no longer worked for Atlas. Called Atlas today & was told they will call me. Asked to speak Gabby ,their manager, was unavailable.Initial Complaint

They used a mover named ******** Van Lines from Carrolllton Tx who damaged and lost thousands of dollars of my property- they even delivered items that werent mine. I brought this to their attention and they put me in contact with some arbitration who then finally offered $75.00 for my troubles. A bunch of *******!Initial Complaint
