    I think this company is out of business. In late 2021 they moved my mother's furniture and belongings to an assisted living facility. There was too much furniture, and the storage space I'd purchased was too small, so they decided they could take it back to their warehouse. They called me once or twice last year (late 2023) because my payment had expired, and they wanted to drop off my mother's stuff in the next few days, but I was on travel out of state. Never heard from them again, despite called numerous times and getting a busy signal. I think they've gone out of business, and lord knows what they did with my mom's stuff! I don't understand why they didn't make more of an effort to get paid - and to give my mom's stuff back vs vanishing.

    These people will damage your property and not even care. ******************************* will lie to you over and over again. He's done just that to us about payment he's lied about sending. Stay away from these people.

    On 8/22 we moved from *****, ** to **************, ** & decided to use ***S who has been fine so far. They recommended 3 firms to us for the actual loading & unloading of the **** We made the mistake of picking Pack&Load.Here's what happened:1. We requested an 8 am start. P&L agreed but would not guarantee it. Our movers showed up at 12:30. P&L insists they called & texted me, but my phone shows no record of either. This was tough since we had a 5-hour drive ahead of ******* had woken up at 5:30 am.2. ***** was P&L's lead & we started off OK. My wife, ******* stayed out of their way in a side room. When the *** was nearly full, ***** told us that a couch could not fit in the hallway out of my office. This was strange because it had been moved in without a hitch.3. *****'s team smashed the couch into pieces. This was OK because it was scheduled for junk pickup. But at that point,***** & team felt hostile. 4. Finally, ***** said he was ready for the final walk-thru. In the 1st room, we stopped at ************** asked if that was going into the **** I asked him to repeat & he shouted at me with a ferocity that made me worry he might hit me.5. ******** team loaded the footstool, slammed the *** door shut & left.6. They never completed the walkthrough & left my $850 office chair in the room where we had stayed during the move.7. The next day, we were on the road when our former neighbor called. She was with the *** driver who was there to take the *** & ship it to ************ --our destination. It seems ***** had padlocked the *** door improperly & the *** door was still unlocked. Our neighbor used bolt cutters to remove the padlock. The *** guy put a new lock in & our stuff is now en route & the keys to it are being mailed.8. After 8 days on the road, we have reached our new home. My 1st order of biz was to call Pack&Load where ******** blamed every part of this horror story on us. If you were us what would you do?
