The company allowed me to park my vehicle on the curb until my sister came to pick it up by 7 pm. My sister came at 4 pm and there was a boot on my car. I was told that the auditors came on the lot that day and did research on the car and discovered I was the owner of the tractor and there was a parking fee discrepancy and I needed to contact the accounting department. My tractor was not in the yard so they booted my car which had been parked there for only 2 hours as collateral. It is now going on two weeks and he will not release my vehicle. The owner has bullied me on ******** and is saying I owe $5670. He also stated that "EITHER" my car or tractor was parked for 152 days. I am being extorted for more money. While operating my commercial tractor under my authority, I have parked in the yard 3 times since April. I have NEVER left my car unattended at this lot for more than 2 hours. I have asked the accounting department to send me documentation to show the dates in question that will substantiate the claim, I have yet to receive anything. I have asked repeatedly where my vehicle is and the owner has stated he does not have to tell me where it is. To date, the only thing they have sent me via email is an invoice that states a $350 boot fee and $35 for 152 days which Totals of $5670. The invoice does not specify which vehicle or the dates. I have never At this point, ** being extorted for money and the owner has stolen my car. This situation has caused me a lot of stress. I have a daughter who suffers from a mental illness and I care for her two children ages 2 and 1. My vehicle is used EVERY DAY to take them to daycare. This has been a total disruption to our family. I am rejecting this response because:Mr. ******* has not responded. I have yet to receive documentation to support the alleged charges other than an invoice. I have requested documetation that shows the exact dates that shows 152 days in which he has stated that "Either" my car or truck was parked on the lot. I do not have a contractual agreement in place with Store My Truck and he can not hold my personal vehicle as collateral.
I would like my personal vehicle released immediately as this is extortion.
Sincerely,

**** brought her car On the day in question and she parked it in front of security. She has been parking on our lot since March 2023 and she told us she was an employee of Prime trucking, which is one of our customers that pays for parking spaces on our lot. She is now been found out that she is not an employee of Prime. She is merely a subcontractor that occasionally pulls merchandise and trailers for prime. ***** has told her not to park in the employee parking areas and she knows she has been parking illegally since March 2023.
She is only a subcontractor for Prime trucking, not an employee. We called Prime directly, and she Has been told numerous times not to park as an employee cause she is not an employee. Since she is not an employee, of Prime, she must pay for her own parking and she owes over $5000 in parking fees going back to March 2023. If she would like to contact me directly once again, and come up with a plan to pay us, that would be acceptable. Please call ************************* at ************. otherwise, her vehicle is being held in lieu of payment for her parking since March

I have paid monthly payments to store my commercial vehicle. On the date 7/27/2023 I filed a police report. And contacted StoreMyTruck about my stolen truck. The storemytruck, stated they had cameras in and out. But still have no knowledge about my stolen truck. I depend on my truck for support. They have not responded to my request for helping.Business Response

All of our locations have cameras at the entrance and the exits. Cameras do not keep people from stealing things. Cameras only capture people coming in and coming out. There is no pictures from the cameras showing who the person is it took the trailer, nor do we have any cameras out on the lot watching every inch of the property. It would take thousands of cameras to capture every inch of the property. This is a large property it would also take a crew of 20 people to watch those cameras 24 hours a day which is not going to happen with a payment for each Truck Parking of $200. We also do not have armed guards there 24 hours a day to protect his vehicle.
In every parking contract document that every customer signs with our company, every customer takes full responsibility of their own truck, trailer, and any items that they park on our property. Storemytruck.com LLC is a parking location only and according to the paperwork that this client signed, they took responsibility for everything could happen to their trailer including Theft, vandalism, and anything that could happen is the Parkers responsibility. We are a park at your own risk facility. He signed his contract when he signed up knowing that he was responsible for his own vehicle parked at our facility. We supply a place to park on our property and that is all we supply!
In their contract also they have the ability to understand that they could take certain steps to ensure that their vehicle would be safer. King ***** wheel locks, glad hand locks, are items that we suggest in their contract, that the person parking their vehicles should use. Also, clients usually have GPS tracking devices on their vehicles. This client did not use any of the suggested items.
We also require all of our clients to have insurance on their vehicles for theft, vandalism, or anything that might happen to their vehicle, because it is the customer responsibility to insure against all risks and theft.
Again, we are a park at your own risk facility, and so is every single parking facility that trucks park in around the country. This client also knew what the facility look like, and until his vehicle became missing, was very happy with the location and never complained until then.
We do not supply armed guards to protect their vehicles. This gentleman is responsible for the theft, and removal of his own vehicle, because he failed to follow his contract. His contract states that we are not responsible for anything that *** happen on that lot, including this theft.

This complaint is a complete lie and fabrication of what really happened. Store My Truck owns a 14 acre lot located in ************ and RPS rents property from store My Truck. RPS has a designated area of the property. This food truck company had no regard for the paid parking areas and decided to just park his truck in our areas. According to RPS, he was warned back in February to pay ** or to pick up his truck because it was repaired in February.
He parked his truck for a couple of months even after his truck was repaired and left his truck on the parking area of the lot parked illegally. His vehicle was parking illegally and never paid store My Truck for any Truck Parking and as a matter of fact he was never a customer of store My ********************** .
The only person he should be mad at is himself for not following the rules and trying to get away with parking for free. His illegal parking caused him to receive not only a parking violation, but also he received an impounded situation that he had to pay a towing company to pay for .
This gentleman and this company deserves to pay for his illegal parking. The entrance gate and all of the property is labeled store My truck parking and all our signs discuss that they have to have parking permits to park here.
this company should be ashamed of themselves for trying to steal parking spaces and not paying for them. And now, they should be embarrassed for putting their name on this complaint. Shame on you!

The reason why the consumer rejected my response, because he knows he was trespassing on our property. He had no right to park his vehicle on our property without paying **.
His response that he rejects it, shows that he realizes that he was wrong, because he didnt have any rebuttal other than he rejects it.
You cant park at a paid parking lot without paying people and expect to be able to park there and stay there without being booted or towed. Thats what happened to him. He was towed for parking illegally.

I reject the response from respondent because:
I had no knowledge of who owned the property other than ******. I paid him $100 a month to store my truck after the repair was completed. My truck sat for a few months before the repair was done awaiting parts. When I picked up my food truck I was told by Store My Truck that my truck was towed and I need to pay $800 for towing and other fees. Mr ******* son was dealing me at Store My Truck and I advised him that I had no idea my truck was towed. I left my truck under the supervision of ****** in which he understood that I had no knowledge of ****** telling me one thing and it being something else. Mr ******* son said pay $800 and you can take your truck. I felt like i shouldn't owe anything. I told ****** I have to tell Mr ******* to tell what really happened and when i spoke to Mr.******* the subject in this complaint, he cursed, yelled and called me and my wife all kinds of derogatory names, and racist remarks. He thought and accused me lying. He said i had to pay more than the $800 dollars his son advised me to pay in which I rebutted that because I should not have to pay any fees because i was paying Ramone $100 a month. He argued with me, more like yelled, and told me to shut up. He put the price up to $3050 in order for me to get my truck back after his son agreed for me to pay $800.

I am paying $180 /month to store my truck at a secured lot, with 24 hour security, and a gated entrance that requires a pin to enter/leave; however, I have complained to them several times over the last month about the gate being broken to no avail. The gate is still broken (an amenity I am paying for), and someone stole my FMCSA required decal that contains my MC and DOT #, yet there has been no solution. This is going to cost me revenue, as I now have to pay $85 to replace my decal, and cannot put my truck on the road until I receive a replacement in the mail. I am rejecting this response because: Although the agreement states you all arent responsible for what was stolen off of my truck, you all are responsible for providing the amenities that your customers are paying for, which as you stated is unfortunately being repaired (its been over a month since the gate has been broken).FYI - the Jonesboro Rd. location you suggested is full per your rep, otherwise I wouldve been more than happy to move my truck there.
Sincerely,
