    On 7/23/23 I was traveling on ************************* in ******* ** where Baldwin Paving was repaving a portion of the road. There was a street sweeper in the suicide lane with no traffic controls of any kind in place. As I drove by Baldwin Pavings street sweeper threw grit and gravel against the side of my vehicle. At the time I didnt think it was significant enough to have caused any notable damage but the next day I realized there were rock chips from the front to the rear of my vehicle. I contacted Baldwin Paving directly and spoke with Director of Risk and Safety *********************** who took 3 weeks to conduct a thorough internal review/investigation and ultimately denied my claim. The claim was denied on the grounds that for the incident to have occurred the way I had said it did a Baldwin Paving employee would have had to break their contract and policies and that just simply wasnt possible.
