I hired bakers bridge construction to complete three projects, a kitchen and two bathroom renovations. I was given a quote of $68,000 for the Complete project. I was asked to give a $20,000 deposit, which would be used to order new kitchen cabinets. I then informed ************** that I was going to have family coming into town and I was asking if the kitchen was going to be completed in time for my family to come. He stated he was unsure of this, but then suggested that we move forward with the guest bathroom which he could complete in a few weeks. He then asked for $7500 to complete this project Which I gave them. Throughout all this, I I was never asked what kind of cut kitchen cabinets I wanted I was never provided a diagram of where anything was going to look like, and I asked for this multiple times. After ************** started the bathroom it became very clear that he did not know what he was doing. I had to order all my own materials, because he could not find the things that I wanted, and I easily found them. When he started doing the work in the bathroom, it was terrible, and it took a very, very long time. When I complain and asked him to restart the tiling in the bathroom, I stopped hearing from him. That was almost 8 weeks ago. he has $27,500 of my money and I have no I have to hire a new contractor to what I thought finish the bathroom but was told that it needed to be completely redone because of how terrible the work was. I have not been able to get a hold of ************** or *************** for that matter , both of which made a lot of promises. I did hire an attorney to send them a letter, asking them to return my money, and they have not. I went under contract with ************** on March 4 of 2023, and I have yet to have any kind of project completed. He has left a dumpster in my driveway which I am now having to fight to have removed. He provided the dumpster company a false name and so now they are not willing to move the dumpster until they figure out who is going to pay for it.

Paid $20,000 deposit for completion and buildout on my salon space to ******************* of Bakers Bridge Construction. **** led me to believe he was a licensed contractor and was legally capable of completing the work. I was contacted by the actual licensed contractor *************************** who informed me that he was an independent contractor not employed by ******************* opposite of what I was told when I asked for licensing information. He confirmed **** was not legally licensed or able to complete the job and needing his licensing info to get permits to complete the project. **** told me the cost would be $50k when he was quoted $40k by the actual contractor. **** also told the contractor I had not paid anything and wasnt willing to until the work was completed, which was untrue as I had paid $20k deposit to start the project to ****. I then asked **** by phone if he would be completing any of the work at my space he said no and that *************************** would be fully responsible. I then asked why he told me he was licensed and able to complete the job and told him I knew *************************** was not his employee and asked for my money back. He stated he wasnt giving me my money back and hung up in my face. I tried putting stop payment on the wire with my bank and when they held the money a few days he text me threatening legal action towards me when he has not completed any work at my salon space. I was informed by *************************** that he was using my deposit money to fund other projects instead of using towards material and work on my space as agreed. I would just like my money back from him as he was not legally able to complete the job and he is not a licensed contractor. **** literally tried to take advantage of me. Ive lost my space due to the financial situation this has put me in.
