      On May 28, 2025, I entered Anytime Fitness Center on Columbia Road . My friend **** arrived 10 minutes later with her son and his caretaker.
      Later in the evening an email arrived from Sarah T***** advising that my membership had been discontinued because I had brought a guest into the facility w/o going thru proper check-in process and secondly the individual was actively training me. Both accusations are false. **** has a ******** ******** son who always has a caretaker that accompanies him. Employees of the gym need training on how to approach their clients. I personally went to the gym the next day to talk to the owner who was not present but ended up talking to another staff member about the situation. **** was unaware of the policy for a $10 charge for a guest and was upset. It was her birthday and her son and caretaker were accompanying her. Sarah T***** should have called **** into the office to discuss the matter. This is no way to treat loyal senior citizens. The accusations are false and the staff need training on how to talk to people. Sarah made an assumption without understanding the story at hand with ****. These unfair and discriminatory actions should not prevail in any organization. Actually, when I showed up the next day I was going to pay the $10 for **** to help her out, but instead was told again that we were both being dismissed.
      As a member of this gym for years with no complaints, these false allegations are alarming. I pray that the treatment we encountered is not representative of the establishment and that they will remedy this issue. I would not take the time to comment on this unless I didn't feel that we were treated unfairly. Ultimately, I hope that these employees will be given some kind of corrective action and training. I am not looking to save my membership, but just want an incident like this to not happen to anyone else in the future.
