The first time I went here, I dropped off a few items to get altered. I brought more items to get altered on 04/19/2022 and PAID for the previous items that *** claimed I didnt pay for (see bank statement). The new items were 1 pair of shorts, 1 pair of slacks, 1 sundress. That day, I was wearing a pair of jeans that I wanted altered along with another pair that was at home in the laundry. At this time, she had already quoted me for $75 for the aforementioned 3 items. When I told her about the jeans, she scratched out the $75 and put $105 and told me thats how much it would be to all 5 items once I brought the jeans back. I had a FEELING that was going to be a bad idea and it WAS. I wasnt able to get the jeans back right away because to be honest, I forgot about it and life happened. Which means the price wouldve stayed at the $75. 10/3/22 I returned to pick up the 3 items and drop off the 2 jeans. When I reminded her of what she wrote on the ticket. She accused me of not paying for the previous items, scratching out the $75 (which makes no sense when $105 is higher), and said it was impossible that she quoted me that. I kept explaining to her what she said in April and asked her how much was it for the 3 items, and shes says $105!! How?! She says the slacks were $20. Okay, so you telling me shorts and a sundress is $85?! And she said, no thats because you didnt pay for the other stuff. WHICH I DID. I even showed her a picture of one of the shirts she did and she still wouldnt admit that she told me it would be $75 for the 3 items and said, I dont want to see that! At first, I was still going to let her do 1 pair of jeans. I changed my mind and took them with me after experiencing her dishonesty and lack of accountability. My intention was NOT to argue but she accused me of not paying, and made it seem like I was making up stuff when I have proof! I want my $30 difference/refund. She needs to have more transparent and VISIBLE pricing.

My name is Bee, the owner of Bee's Alterations. The consumer, ****, came to my shop on April 19th, 2022. She dropped off four items and left. Two days later, she came back to pick up one of the merchandise (a dress) , in which she claimed to already paid for. On October 3rd, 2022, six months later (even though she was supposed to pick them up a week after April 19th), she came back and picked up the rest of the merchandise she dropped off, claiming she also paid for it all even though I was sure she didn't. That was the first issue. The second issue is that on the same day (April 19th) for one of the merchandise, a pair of jeans, I requested her to clean the pair before I start service on the pair of jeans. She never came back to bring back the jeans until six months later on October 3rd. She didn't come back with one pair of jeans, but she came back with two pairs of jeans. The original price would have been 105$, covering the four merchandise + the pair of jeans, but because there was ANOTHER pair of jeans included, I brought up the price. She claimed I raised the price up on her for no reason.

I am rejecting this response because:

I didnt drop off a dress with Bee the first time. Ive only dropped off one dress with her which *** mentioned in my previous explanation. Ive also included proof of the items I paid for the first time so there is nothing to claim. The proof is there. Im not sure why *** is trying to avoid accepting accountability by accusing me of not paying for a order from months ago. That order has NOTHING to do with this new order.

Bee is presenting new arguments steadily accusing me, and literally just admitted that she OVERCHARGED ME.

The original price would have been 105$, covering the four merchandise + the pair of jeans, but because there was ANOTHER pair of jeans included, I brought up the price. She claimed I raised the price up on her for no reason.

Why did I pay $105 on 10/03/2022 when she did NOT alter the jeans?! I took the jeans with me. Thats the whole point of why I want a refund. She NEVER did the jeans but still charged me $105 and tried to make it seem like I was low balling her. The price shouldve been $75. Point blank. She absolutely raised the price for no reason and Im glad she admitted that. I will attached my bank account where the $105 was paid so she doesnt change her story again, and I didnt even mention the hidden card merchant fee! This is absolutely ridiculous. Just give me my money back because now I have proof that you overcharged me!

    Sincerely,

Ms **** did bring 2 jeans on 10/3/22 and tried them on for me to alter,  But she claimed that $105 had included these 2 jeans, I rejected because $105 only includes 1 ****. Ms **** has paid my co-worker $105. When she left the store. I have asked for that one pair of **** that I suppose to alter, my coworker answered that Ms **** has took them with her. If Ms **** doesn't want that **** to be altered I would have taken $30 off out of $105. All it takes for her to communicate with me, it's that simple. There is no hidden fee for credit card use. The 4% convenient fee is a credit card charge not my company and it posted in the front desk.

I am rejecting this response because:

I CLEARLY asked How much is it for JUST this. Which were the three things that were ALREADY done. I pointed to the hanger and asked specifically for those items and I even pushed the jeans back to emphasize my question. I asked THREE times.
How much for THIS? *** kept saying $105. And I said, for THIS?!? Because she was being irrational to overcharge me for:

    1 pair of slacks
    1 pair of shorts
    1 sundress

I said, Okay, dont even worry about the jeans. How much is it for THIS.

Once I left, she kept calling me to drop off jeans when I had clearly said not to worry about it due to being OVERCHARGED for the THREE items. I was confused on why she was calling me about jeans that I clearly said never mind about. I dont know if thats when she realized she messed up or what. Of course I wasnt going to leave my jeans up there when I was already being overcharged!

PLEASE do not say anything about communication. I tried to communicate and *** kept telling me what she didnt want to hear, didnt want to see my pictures, accused me of not paying, and all this other stuff. This wouldnt be a issue if she had actual prices posted! So people could just shop like regular consumers. But Im not about to be a business consultant for free.

As I mentioned in my original complaint, I want a $30 refund and to not hear from Bee again. This was completely avoidable when I was TRYING to reason with her and she wasnt hearing.

Ill take a check in the mail or I can just dispute it with my bank and she can take it up with them.

    Sincerely,
