Date of the transaction: 1/26/2023 Amount of money paid: $330.00 What the business committed to provide: Fix water leak in a pipe in house Nature of the dispute: ***** was contacted to fix the water leak in the pipe which he did eventually get repaired but we noticed after he was finished that the hot water from the bathtub was not coming out like it was before it was barely coming out where as before it was working just fine. We informed him of this, showed him the problem which he then responded he had no idea why it was doing that. We told him we had that problem before with another sink when after a previous plumber had came out and was fixing a previous leak that some debris had got in the line and the filter needed to be cleaned out so we had done that and it resolved the problem so we suggested to him that it may be the debris clogged in there that is causing the water pressure not to be what is was before. He took off the filter but there was no debris. He said he did not know how to fix and left. We tried to fix ourselves but could not and called him back to see if he could come back out and fix it which he then he advised me to call another plumber since he never had that problem before and did not know how to fix. We were told there would be Lifetime Warranty on the repair and if anything not working right to call him but when we did they would not stand behind there work and try to fix the problem with the bathtub. Resolution is wanting a refund because since he told me to call another plumber to go behind and fix what he messed up I would need a full refund so that I can pay another plumber to fix it.

As the client mentioned, she reached out to me to fix a water leak only. We scheduled a time, discussed the issue at hand, went over pricing and then I took the job. Upon arrival, the water was leaking on the floor from a pipe located in a closet wall near a stairway. The wall was already cut, so I mentioned to her in order for me to remove the elbow I had to purchase materials. I then shut off the water, cut one way to the cpvc pipe, then vacuumed the line and water off the floor. I couldnt get the elbow off so I had to go further. This caused me to cut another section about 3 inches apart from the first cut. The new cut I notified the client  that I would need to chip a bit of concrete to remove and replace pipe, she agreed so I proceeded. After chipping ************ of concrete I was able to replace the coupling. Then I vacuumed again to assure that the line was clear of  any debris, concrete, or trash. All  components were now connected. Then I turn the water back on. There was no more leak in the area I replaced the pipe. Before I left the premises, the daughter of the client took me to another part of the house and begin to explain that her tub faucet was spitting out water not working properly, I told her Im not sure why this happening on the other side of the house while all other faucets were flowing perfectly. She stated that a previous plumber performed work before me and he left lined clogged so client had to call the same plumber back and he then told them verbally over the phone how to remove the evaporator from the faucet then the debris was released. The daughter of the client words. Now the daughter is asking me to fix the faucet on the tub in which I declined because there was a previous repair before and I did not want to go behind a previous plumber. I noticed the wall was cut and patched and I didnt not want anything to do with this problem. This was a previous issue. I only agreed to replace pipe. Far as the client being able to call me back when I mentioned warranty was only for the pipe  I replaced if it so happene to break or anything of that matter.
