    I am filing a formal complaint against Top To Bottom Inspection Services, LLC, operated by *** ******, for ***** negligence, misrepresentation, and systemic carelessness during a home inspection completed on February 28, 2025, at 3:30 PM at *********************************************************************. The inspector submitted an inaccurate report that failed to document multiple visible and material defects, made false statements about building materials, and caused me to incur over $15,000 in urgent repair costs leading to severe financial distress.Details of Negligence and Misrepresentation:The inspector incorrectly identified basic building materials:Stated that my quartz kitchen countertops were laminate.Labeled my steel and fiberglass exterior doors as wood.All exterior doors were marked acceptable, yet:Two had visible rot, misalignment, and weather ********** had a large visible gap under the door, which led to water ************ a result of these oversights, Ive had significant interior water damage, including:Wet and damaged carpet and drywall.Necessary replacement of sections of interior wall and flooring.The inspector stated all windows were in acceptable condition, yet:4 of 6 windows leaked during rainfall.Window frames were visibly discolored and had broken seals.A leak under the kitchen sink was missed entirely. This was a basic operational issue that should have been caught.The HVAC system was not properly inspected or tested, despite visible performance issues.These are not small errors the report was factually incorrect and failed to detect major issues a visual inspection should have easily caught. The inspector demonstrated a pattern of carelessness throughout the process, mislabeling materials and overlooking visible damage.Resulting Damages:Window replacement: $11,217 Exterior door replacement (2 of 3): $3,400 (quoted)Interior repairs (carpet, drywall, plumbing, hvac): ~$2,500 Total confirmed repair costs: ~$15,000
