    On 11/20/2023 I went to Take 5 for an oil change/top off and was told to come back for my actual oil change in a few weeks because my oil was very low due to the incorrect next change sticker being placed on my windshield at the previous visit. My vehicle was fine. I went to the same location on 12/19/2023 for an oil change prior to driving out of state to go on a trip out of the country. After being there for nearly 45 minutes, which has never been the length of time my vehicle has been in the bay at any location, I was told my oil pan had a crack/leak. I asked when it started because I just moved into a new home and there was no oil in my driveway; no one knew seemed to know how nor when it occurred. I called ******************* from the bay while they finished up and made an appointment to take my vehicle the next day. They didnt have all the parts but stated in the recorded inspection video that the damage occurred from two things 1) oil lug or cap was placed too tightly and the oil lug wasnt the one for my car. I called customer service and was told the location would call. When they did was already overseas. I called from out of the country was told manager wasnt available but theyd explain to him what happened. He emailed me (*** St ****). I responded that I was out of the country but sent him the videoed vehicle inspection from ********* Have called and emailed several times since returning to states on 1/6/2024 to no avail; my voicemails have not been returned nor my emails. The estimate to repair my vehicle is over $4400 and Ive sent all the information to my attorney in case Take 5 wants to continue to ignore my calls and emails. Id previously reached out to customer care in reference to being charged over $100 on six occassions for a $20 top off which was brought to my attention by their own employee and they didnt resolve that either. I have all of my receipts and was taken advantage of because I do not have automotive knowledge.

    I am rejecting this response because: The manager *** St. **** is having the vehicle repaired. It was towed to a repair shop Tuesday, but the wrong parts were ordered so I have not yet received my vehicle back. I have not been compensated for the cost of the oil change nor the diagnostic testing performed by the ******** *********** I have attached my estimate and receipt from my oil change.

    I have pictures. I need to be reimbursed $1,000.00! I am a FORMER Take 5 Oil Change patron who is TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY DISSATISFIED with the services rendered, received at ****************************************************************** Take 5 Oil location where my **** ****** Solara was serviced on Tuesday, Dec. 05, 2023 @ 4:58pm. I was charged $142.84 ******* I am requesting a FULL refund in this amount because my car was NOT POURING OUT, i.e. leaking oil prior to THIS encounter! NOW, my car is leaking ALL of the oil in its entirety, IN ADDITION, a coolant exchange was suggested, to rinse out dust/dirt in the reservoir tank, I observed a low amount of coolant w/ dust at the bottom, and agreed to the cleaning and refilling of my coolant reservoir tank. My tank was not washed out NOR was it refilled, I observed this at 9am on 12/8/2023. I filled my car with Coolant I purchased along with *********** to replenish my engine oil. I drove several miles and the coolant is still at the level I supplied this morning. The oil has leaked out and I replenished it. I REPEAT, MY CAR WAS NOT LEAKING OIL LIKE THIS PRIOR TO MY Take 5 EXPERIENCE on Tuesday, December 5, 2023. ALSO, on the receipt, it states my windshield was cleaned, THAT IS A LIE. I did NOT observe anyone checking the pressure of my tires. My power steering fluid level was NOT increased. The Drain Plug is stated to be OK, THEN, AFTER the Take 5 Technician worked underneath my car to drain and change the oil, ONLY THEN does he state the oil plug, bolt is not tightening and the oil pan is stripped. NOW, I have to replace my oil pan at the cost of $800.00 that I do NOT have! Take 5 Oil Change send my cashiers check in the amount of $1,000.00 to P.O. Box *****, *******, ** *****.

    I am one of the managers who worked with this customer when she came in for a service. She called us a couple of days later complaining that we did not put any coolant in her car. We have video evidence to back up that we did put coolant in the reservoir after finishing the coolant exchange service. We also verified with her the dirty coolant we pulled out of her car. 

    As far as the oil pan goes the plug thread in the pan was worn out and we did put a note on her receipt saying "Oil plug keeps spinning from last oil change so we replaced the oil plug but the new plug also keeps spinning. Told customer to replace the pan before next oil change as it is worn out due to the age of the car". This statement was on her receipt copy and I had told her this as well. We have asked this customer to come in to look at the video footage but she's being unreasonable and hostile.

    I am rejecting this response because: What are the next steps to take in order to file a formal complaint against the owner of Take 5 Oil Change?

    Due to the lack of excellence at Take 5, I now need a new oil pan, which I did not need prior to visiting the ********* location.  Also, prior to this oil change my car was NOT excessively leaking oil.  Take 5 is responsible for making this situation right, preserving their integrity. 

     

    The dirt is STILL in the coolant reservoir until this day (3 months later)....that would not be a fact if Take 5 Oil had actually did what they said they were going to do.  

     

    As you can see from the pics my coolant reservoir tank is empty AND dirty. THIS is 3 days after I paid them for a coolant exchange where they promised to clean out the tank AND REPLENISH it so my heat and air would work better. LIARS! S/ DECEIVERS! THEN, they stripped my oil pan and ALL my oil ran out. They tried to blame this on the previous company i paid to change my oil. The oil NEVER emptied onto the ground previously ONLY after I visited Take 5 Oil Change located at ******************************************************************. ***** & ******* (*****) & *******, Manager & Asst *** & Technician, you owe me $142.84 & the installation of a new oil pan & compensation for my inconvenience. I am fed up with the lack of integrity and low-budget service extended by companies today. Please know EVERY SEED YOU SOW YOU WILL REAP A HARVEST IN THE FORM OF A TREE. AND, your beneficiaries, i.e. children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren... will be recipients of EVERYTHING YOU'VE sown. What a poor, low-budget legacy to leave as an inheritance! REPENT TODAY and be born again. THIS company (TAKE 5 OIL CHANGE) is a representation of satan and how he steals ?? people's money?? and destroys their property ??.  THIS is UNACCEPTABLE and satan has to pay me back 7 times what he stole.  

     

    Take 5 employees lied on the receipt stating they cleaned my windshield.  Liars!

    I observed no checking my tire pressure, even though they marked on the receipt it was checked.  Liars!

    I went to get my vehicle serviced on September 21 for an oil change. The car was service md, upon leaving the bay of the **** 5, my Audi A6 begin to jerk, shake and smoke. I immediately brought the car back. Upon returning m, the manager stated that the tech drained my transmission fluid completely out instead of the oil. The tech stated, that he was not familiar with my vehicle and still moved forward with servicing my car. The manager had his tech go to Autozone to buy transmission fluid, and attempted to replace the fluid. When I attempted to start my car, it started jerking again and the check engine light was on, the check engine light was not on prior to getting my car serviced. At that time, I decided to park the car in their parking lot. I requested to talk with the owner, we were told to come and call the next day. We have yet to speak with the owner directly. I also spoke with the Audi dealership and they stated that I should not be driving the car and the location wanted me to drive the car to see if the engine will go off. The dealership also stated that they should have never drained the transmission fluid out completely, so now I have to get my car towed, get the car serviced and repaired at the Audi dealership: I have reached out to the corporate ****** of **** 5 twice, and Ive been calling everyday to get this rectified and the owner have yet to speak with me directly.

    Hi *******, 

    We have been in touch with the Customer and have fixed the issue with their car, now they want us to fix their check engine light.  They came and gave us the keys after we recieved this complaint. I did not see an email to reply to the BBB or a phone number that we can call to let them know we are working on this.  I called the number on the email from BBB but the number was disconnected, I am not sure if they typed their number wrong by accident.  Is there a way you can give me a claim number and email for the BBB so we can at least tell them we are working with the customer to resolve this issue.
