In April of 2025, Extra Mile Tire and Service in Mile Tire in ******, Ga defrauded me and did damage to my wife's Jeep Wrangler. The following is a summary of events and timelines:- April 11th: Car was taken into Extra Mile. Quote was given on fixing multiple issues reported - April 18th: car was picked up, inovice paid of $7500 - April 21st: car was making noise that was there before, Extra Mile suggested we drive the car another 500 miles to "Brake in the fixes they did"- April 22nd: car was taken to another shop where it was discovered that most of the repairs reported completed had not been done. The repair of the rear differential was done incorrectly and caused additional damange. This was confirmed by Troncolli Jeep was well on April 25th. Both shops said the car was not safe to drive, even though Extra MIle stated she should drive the other 500 miles to brake it in. The other mechanics/shops were baffled by this statement - April 28th: sent video documentation to Extra Mile showing the damange their mechanic had caused and expalined the extra costs associated witht their poor work. The total for that is $4,000-$4500 in additional work to get the car in safe operating mode.Extra Mile has refused to take accountablilty for the damange they caused. They did refund the money for the repairs, but that doesnt absolve them from the damanges their poor work has caused. They have denied help with rental while the car is being fixed by Jeep as well. I have attempted amicably to acheive resolution, but this has not happened. The owner has refused to take responsibility. I will be filing a claim in magistrate court this week as well for costs of the repair, rental car fees, and diagnostics from the other shops to uncover the fraud that Extra Mile engaged in by not completing repairs they stated they did. Refunds or not, this is fraud and was only discovered when we pressed for another answer. I feel blessed we took that step and my family wasnt harmed.

Dear Mr. ******************* you for your message regarding the rear differential repairs performed on your 2020 Jeep Wrangler, VIN *****************.
We take customer concerns seriously and appreciate your patience as we worked to address the situation. As you are aware, we refunded the full cost of the original repair as a good-faith effort to resolve your concerns promptly and professionally.
First and foremost, I want to sincerely apologize for any risk that may have been posed to your family. The recommendation to proceed with internal repairs was made based on our technicians professional opinion at the time. We genuinely believed that this approach would be a safe and effective solution, particularly given the national backorder of complete axle assembliesa known issue with this model due to widespread failures of the **** 44 Advantek axle used in 2020 Jeep Wranglers.
This axle design has been subject to common problems, including premature rear pinion bearing failure. In fact, the failure rate is so high that even dealerships are often unable to source new axle assemblies and, in your case, had to procure a replacement from OReilly Auto Parts. This alone reinforces that the issue is systemicnot isolated to our shopand that full axle replacements have become necessary in many cases because of inherent weaknesses in the component itself.
We followed standard procedure by using OEM internal components from the dealership, which were available while the full axle assembly was not. When further issues arose, we not only refunded the cost of any parts that were possibly left off during reassembly but went a step further and refunded the entire job. We also terminated the technician involved in the repair.
However, we must clarify that the technicians incorrect assumptionthat the axle was not already too far gone to be repaired with internalsdoes not mean the damage originated from our work. On the contrary, the initial condition of the axle when your vehicle arrived appeared to show signs of preexisting damage from the pinion bearing failure. We acted under the assumption, at the time, that the internal repair would be sufficient, not that the axle housing itself had already sustained irreversible harm.
As such, while we regret the inconvenience and have gone to great lengths to make this right, we cannot accept responsibility for the additional $4,000 cost associated with the replacement axle. That repair was performed by a third party after we had already issued a full refund and is not the result of negligence or avoidance on our part. It appears to be a result of the known limitations of the vehicles factory components and part availability.
Should you choose to pursue this matter through legal means, we will be fully prepared to provide records, communication history, technical documentation, and part availability data to support our position.
We remain committed to treating all customers fairly and professionally, and again, we are sorry for any stress this situation has caused.
      Sincerely,
      ******* *****

I bought the car in for a noise complaint and was advised it was rack/pinion steering. However, when picked up the car, the noise still remained and had additional engine icons on my dashboard that wasnt present before. Additionally, the steering was very, very hard to turn and was advised the technician made an error. They refused to fix the issues, once a credit card hold was placed. The dashboard icon was shown to the exact technician that worked on the car and he advised its because of a broken mount and that the engine is moving around due to the new work being done.I had not left the station and was on their property when I advised of the issue. They should have video at the property showing the encounter as well. They also record all incoming calls, there are calls advising that I was not pleased with the work and the issues still existed. There are several, several ****** and Yelp reviews that clearly state customers dissatisfaction and their unprofessionalism as well as their incompetence. This business was bought by ************************* and the old staff under Back on the Road has just about left for various reasons. The current staff there is clearly inept and the quality of work product has suffered. Ask them why so many customers have left. I fully intend to pursue this matter accordingly using all available resources to my advantage. ************
