A year ago I signed up for HiCast Sports Networks on demand video service. They require an automatic monthly renewal. They provide nothing to inform you that you are being charged or any reminder that you will be billed. I first used this when my son went to a baseball tournament and I wanted to save videos from the tournament. I forgot to cancel for 6 months so HiCast charged me each month even though I did not use the service but they never reminded me or sent me a monthly receipt to remind me. I asked for a refund and they said they would not refund me. Fast forward another year and the same issue. This time I remembered to cancel the subscription after I was charged for four months of service. Again I only used it for the first month. Companies that require you to subscribe for auto renewal should also be required to provide reasonable notice that you will be charged or receipts to show you were charged. This company offers a service that is obviously temporary in nature but hides their charging tactics to take advantage of people with a required subscription.
