Our short time here at the Grove on Southlake has been nothing but issues after issues. Where I had to draw the line were in the set of events Im sharing below now. We have only been residents here since March of 2024. 5/22/24 - I was sitting in my living room when I heard what sounded like water to leaking on the floor. I then looked around in the bathrooms and kitchen area which is across from where the A/C unit and water heater is and could not find evidence of water. 5/26/24 - My fianc came home with our infant child only to see a puddle of water that was in the living area and the bedroom in which our daughter sleeps in. We called the emergency hotline number and it went directly to voicemail. We understood it being a holiday weekend, but what the purpose of having an emergency hotline number if the number goes straight to voicemail. 5/28/24 - We go to the leasing office to share our complaints only to be then be treated as if we were lying or not to be taken the issue seriously. Eventually we get the maintenance team to come out. He claims that the A/C drain was stopped up and he would flush it, but it seemed to me this issue wasnt just a drainage issue. When he opened the door to the A/C unit storage there was what looked like a unit that has not been well kept and moisture from consistently water build up. Current date 6/5/24 - The baseboard from which few noticed moisture the last flood is showing again. At this point there seems to be no regard for the well being of my family and I. The apartment seems to be trying to put band aids on open wounds. This has been a nightmare to say the least for my family and I.
