I ordered 3 clear plastic gates from petco.com. First they sent the wrong item. No replacement was rushed so I was not able to install it before I had surgery. After I healed I was able to install it. One broke, cracking, while trying to install it. Petco.com gave me store credit for the one broken item. I installed the other two on the higher drop side of my patio. During the very first storm it cracked flying off everywhere knocking plants over damaging them and making a god awful thunderous noise that I knew would get me a noise complaint so I am out side in the pooring rain and wind cutting off all the broken pieces that are flying around. I reported it to petco and they gave me cardinal gates email contact information for the 1 year warranty. They absolutely ignored me contacting them both from the provided email by petco and messaging them through the website. They ignored me until I stated that I would be contacting consumer affairs, who directed me to you. Cardinal Gates states that Petco already refunded me for the items, but I was only provided store credit for 1 out of 3 items. I received a $30 gift card for the one broken on installation and nothing for the 2 damaged in the first storm despite being advertised as weather protection. Sorry it has taken me so long to complete this report. I had hoped that they would pull it together and then reporting to multiple agencies has taken it's time as well as I have a disability and I am not always well and capable to get all my tasks done.
