This company is advertising itself as a BBB-accredited entity. On their website, there is a logo for accreditation by the BBB, but when I visit the website for the BBB and look at the company's profile, it states clearly that they are not accredited. Looking at the reviews for the company, I believe that their claim to be associated with the Better Business Bureau and their values is false advertising. I have included a link to their website: *********************************************

My complaint against Willow ************* Behavioral Health Center, **** is because I am being charged for an appointment that did not occur, and the mental health office has wasted my time and money by not informing me that it is not mandatory to receive therapy. I was always informed about being charged for an appointment by email, unprofessionally forwarding ones balance to other staff members. I was informed about the cost of an appointment after the appointment took place, and not before the appointment. I also became a patient in early March by first utilizing my precious time to have therapy sessions with a person by the name of *************************, who never explained the offices protocols on patient treatment and none of the front desk or office manager, *****************************, explained why therapy sessions have to take place. It was not until a week or two before my first appointment with the psychiatrist that I informed the office manager on my inability to pay for the therapy sessions. Since I became a patient, I kept enquiring about when will I start seeing a psychiatrist, and not bombarded with seeing a therapist. Perhaps it is a method that the office uses to make money, while a patient waits on an appointment with the psychiatrist. I started being a patient since the first week of March, and I finally got a video appointment with the offices psychiatrist on June 16th first scheduled at 11:30 AM, and changed without my notification to 12:15 PM. I thought to myself that I am glad that I inquired about the appointment time because on one occasion I did not know that my first appointment with a physician was changed to an earlier time for that date. The office manager informed me that a message was left with one of my household members about the change in time, but I never received the message from a household member. The office manager contacted me by phone around between 11:00 and 11:30 am to ask me if I could see the psychiatrist at an earlier time that day at 11:30 am, in which it was less than 30 minutes until the appointment would start, and l live about 45 minutes away. The office manager should have done a better job in making sure that I received the message about the time change for my appointment, so all I could do is reschedule the appointment for another date that which would be extraordinarily far into the future. By then, this was the second time that I received an appointment to see a psychiatrist for the first time, in which there was a short noticed cancellation of the appointment. I do not remember if my first appointment to see a psychiatrist was rescheduled for June 8th, and eventually changed again to a different time, but 6/16/2023 was my first appointment with the psychiatrist, in which there was a change in who the psychiatrist would be. Since the first week of March, I went to Willow ************* Behavioral Health Center seeking medical treatment for my ADD symptoms, and I finally received an appointment with numerous cancellations before the first appointment with a physician on June 16th. I waited over 3 months to start receiving care by a physician, and the end result was that my ADD symptoms were not remedied. Earlier as a patient, I received notice by email that my co-payments were overdue. I was in the dark about being charged for therapy sessions, so I had to start cancelling my therapy appointments because I could not afford to pay for them. On 6/22/2023, I was sent another notice about an outstanding balance of $75 in which the reasons for the amount was stated as three different appointments, in which there was one that never occurred, and it is a charge for an appointment with the therapist. I only met with the therapist three times, not four. I would like to get a refund of $75 from this crooked, and repulsive medical office, where if treatment is rendered it is improper, and downright awful. Willow ************* Behavioral Health Center conduct business in an unconscionable manner. I am no longer a patient at that office because I feel as though I wasted my time and money, in which I never received, not in so much good mental health treatment, but no valuable mental health treatment is what I received. The therapy sessions were such a waste of my time because Ms. ***** could not treat my ADD symptoms, but all she can do is talk. As stated I want a refund for the amount that I have paid Willow oak Community Behavioral Health Center thus far, and the office should not expect to receive the $75 outstanding balance, in which there is an error in stating that I had an appointment with the therapist, and I did not. After I walked out of the office angrily, no one from the office contacted me to inform me of my prescriptions, and the office manager was very rude in pointing out how I left the office hastily, instead of being concerned if a problem occurred in which she would try to rectify it. The office manager also told me that the psychiatrist attempted to send my prescription electronically, but was unable to. She also informed me that she would contact the psychiatrist about my prescription, and ***************************** gave me the impression that I would have to pick up a handwritten prescription at the office. The office manager has not followed-up with me in receiving my medication. There were plenty of red flags that showed this office is terrible in that the staff does not care about patients, but I did not behave wise in my judgement.
