Purchased a new shed from Rent2ownsheds.com. Shed was delivered 12/21/23. We bought the materials to fix the inside enclose the inside. After a rainstorm we noticed a leak that damaged the insulation and paneling. On 1/2/24 I emailed letting them know we had a leak. I was told someone would contact me by weeks end to schedule a repair. On 1/6/24 we had more rain, and more damage, and hadnt heard from repair person. We emailed again. We noticed the panels on the outside werent lined up and caulked the seam between the two panels, we didnt want more damage (more rain was coming). We installed more insulation and panels, and sealed everything back up. On 1/9/24 we had a massive downpour, I went out to paint the inside of the shed and it was still leaking. There was so much water in the insulation, it poured out when I squeezed it. I sent another email with pictures and was told to contact the repair man. I asked about compensation and was led to believe that something would be done. I called the repair person and basically he was too busy fixing all the other sheds he wouldnt be out until early the next week. I went up on a ladder, and caulked the other seam. I spoke to the sales director ******************** and told him how I felt and was worried about the craftsmanship of the shed. I told him that I hadnt mentioned the outlets that were installed poorly, but now I was worried the entire shed was built carelessly like the outlets. He told me to be patient, allow them to fix it, and then wed talk compensation. My caulk job fixed most of the issue, still had small leak. On 1/15/24 repair man fixed the leak. I told him we just noticed an outlet wasnt working. He said hed have to pull down two more panels, my husband said not to worry about it, hed fix it. Today I emailed ******************** and let him know the leak was fixed and asked about compensation. I was told to file it on my homeowners. I havent had the shed a month. All I wanted was the cost of ruined materials.
