1 starI was scammed.First mistake I made - I made the mistake of telling this guy I had a puppy, and thats the reason I had called them out to clean my carpets. No more than 45 seconds later, he had diagnosed an additional $650 worth of cleaning.Second mistake I made - he sent me the payment invoice, and while I was inputting my payment information, he was writing notes about the service. It took him longer to do that than for me to input the info, which is why I know thats what he was doing because he excused himself for taking so long on the service notes. After I hit submit on the payment, he had me initial the bill, without showing me the notes. I was then sent the full invoice as he left. The notes stated The carpet that was considered to be in the worst condition in the home was treated, cleaned and inspected by the client as to results. The client is aware (prior to cleaning) that due to the severity of the damage the carpet needs to be replaced. However, after the area was tested, the client requested that we proceed with the cleaning with the full understanding that the results will be considered as is" and that the standard 30 day guarantee does not apply to the services performed today. This is the exact opposite of the conversation we had. The carpet is only 3 years old, and the conversation we had is that it is in excellent condition. He told me that because the pet stains had gotten into the carpet pad, he would have to perform carpet pad extractions. Thats where the additional $650 comes in. I did agree to that, but he also told me there was a 30 day guarantee in effect. After signing, the notes on the invoice are trying to void that guarantee and completely lie about any discussions we had had on the condition of the carpet. This company is shady. Do not do business with them.Review fromJennifer M

1 starThis company is terrible with communication, punctuality, and customer service. I scheduled an appointment for my elderly mom to get her carpets cleaned. They showed up and said they cant service her with the truck they had that they were going to get a commercial truck. I called around 12pm and they said she was still scheduled. Around 5:00 pm, I called back and they said her appointment was cancelled around 3:30 pm but didnt bother to call. I spoke to a very nice gentleman who explained what had happen with truck. He apologized for the inconvenience and took $15 off the service, for a later date, since my mom waited all day for them from 10 am to almost 5:00 pm. He reassured me that they will reschedule and send the right truck next time. Today they were supposed to come clean and they again were late and sent the wrong truck. When I spoke to the residential manager, she explained she listen to the recording of my last phone call and realized that though the first floor is a basement and her floor is the third floor, they cant service her apartment even though physically her apartment is on the second floor. I asked her if she heard me mention, in that recording, that she lives on the third floor but street level is the second floor which is where they would park the truck not in the basement. She just said she doesnt know. I asked why didnt he mention that it was not serviceable instead of saying he would send a commercial truck and having us wait around all day. She said she doesnt know but will charge a minimum of $300 plus for the job using a commercial truck. No sorry just too bad I will charge you double and who cares about your time or the time of our service people who we sent there knowing they couldnt do the work. I understand misunderstandings and I am not looking for anything but to warn others to be careful because Zero *** of Atlanta is just looking for a **** not serving the community.Review fromMonifa W

1 starI wish I could leave ZERO Stars. Today, Zerorez lost a repeat customer. I scheduled ********************** to come out today using their advertised special for 3 rooms plus free hallway for $109. When the technician, *****, got here he inspected the areas and gave us a upsell quote of almost $900. We told him that we only wanted the special. There was some back and forth discussion about the service. This man said ok and started bringing the equipment into the house and was setting up to begin. He went outside one more time and then came back in and said he respectfully declined to do the job because we did not want to get the pricey service. With some more back and forth, I asked to speak with his manager. He called his dispatcher who verified that we were repeat customers and there was no managers working on the weekend. At this point it did not matter, this man was adamant about wanting us to get this pricey treatment before completing the job and if we did not, he would not do the job, so I told him to leave and contacted their main office and left a message for ****** *****, a manger of the company. I will await his return phone call. In the meantime, Do not get sucked into getting one quote and then when their techs get to your home, quote something else. It's a classic Bait and Switch. Beware!Review fromRicky H

1 starI HAD a LOT of respect for this company and have had work through them ~ 8yrs ago in another home, but let something go wrong, or unexpected and this company will leave you HIGH and DRY!!! We just had work done in 4 rooms. 3 sm bed rooms and my Large master bed room last November. My wife and I noticed our carpet starting to buckle after the service. We've never seen this in our room with the carpet being only 4yrs old and very high quality. The tech who came out even told my wife, "M'am, your carpet grade and look is very nice" Well after several emails and calls and even me sending before and after pics, Zeroerez would not agree to come out to see the carpet or speak to us in person, nor did they talk with their service tech and let us know his take on things. They Customer *** said it was not their fault (Period) So we're left on the hook. If you decide to use them have them (which we won't anymore) pls take before and after pics and have them agree to right any wrongs like any other company would do. I guess they're ABOVE the ****Review fromMartha H

1 star8/8/2024 ZEROREZ delivered my Imported rug and my rug was in unbelievable condition, the delivery guy was very nice and he downloaded the cleaning process of my rug being cleaned. My rug was the last rug in the line and also in front of the floor drain that all the dyes and nastiness was above my rug and the filth was running through my rug which ultimately stained my rug horribly. I reached out to the company location in *********** and mgr. ******* *** offered NO resolution or responsibility, I contacted the main office in ********,** and could only speak with the receptionist who would not give me the name of the **** manager or someone that can make this mistake right or even transferred my phone call to them.. My other option was to contact an Import Rug expert that saw the photos and he said to me sadly that my rug can not be restored or cleaned and explained to me what happened that cause this permanent damage to my rug. This is ZEROREZ shady company and it saddens me that because of their terrible business actions of how they are dragging their employees down with them. This is a company that should be made to make restitution to me and all the other customers that has encountered this companys negligence of preforming quality workmanship.I will seek further avenues to recover my loss and I hope others that are reading this will do the same.Sincere Regards, ***************************Review fromBeverly R

1 starWasted my time. After moving all my furniture, the technician said he could NOT clean my 2 sofas. Fabric is polyester fiber. They should have questioned me when I made the appointment!Very disappointed. Called another service, they cleaned with no issues.Review fromLeah I

1 starSeptember 18th 2023...I booked them because I was referred on the Nextdoor App and they had good reviews. NOooooo do not waste your money with them they sent me a new technician who was very inexperienced. I can tell because when I was asking him certain questions about the carpet he was giving me answers my 9yr old niece would say. My carpet was not clean and mind you I get it cleaned often. I still had dark spots in certain areas and can show the before and after. I reached out and I'm still waiting on a response. It's like he made the carpet worst. I literally had to call another carpet cleaner company Esteam Carpet Cleaning and they did a wayyyyy better job and even clean my high traffic area. ***** that I had to spend addl money and I just want my money back at least for my downstairs area. I went back on the app and was surprised when I expressed my concern how many ppl were saying the same thing on how they did not like them either.Review fromCandace C

1 starAugust 2023- My experience today has very much changed my opinion of Zero Rez. I initially gave them five stars for the service I received in 2021 and 2022. However , this year was different ; the quality did not match previous years.I called last week to make the appointment and specifically asked for the tech ***** who did a good job last year. The rep said that she scheduled me with him. However, today I open my door and another technician has shown up. I wasnt pleased but decided not to say anything. He sent me the invoice prior to the work being done which showed what I was quoted. Upon finishing the work- 3 rooms cleaned in 14 minutes! ( which I thought was rushed compared to previous times), he hands me his phone to pay with a total cost that is more than previously quoted. I asked why and he stated he cleaned two walk in closets. I informed him that I never asked him to clean those closets but simply pointed out that there were two. He obviously was not pleased with my response and his demeanor immediately changed for the worse. These techs are obviously compensated for pushing sales and charging for additional services as he attempted to sell me a protection plan as well from the beginning.I called and left a message on a managers voicemail . I will wait to see if the call is returned. I very much doubt whether I will use this company again, it is misleading as I specifically asked for a tech by name. If I am told that a specific person will show up, then that is what I expect. If changes are made , then Zero Rez needs to inform the customer that the requested tech is not available ( which they did not do).
