I am rejecting this response because:

it is true that I was not directly your client. However, an offer had been made to me to settle a dispute with your client. In that offer, a certain amount of lawyers fees were part of what I had to pay. I was told that this offer was good up until a certain date. Then, because I emailed your paralegal *************************** (at her instruction) prior to the expiration of the initial offer, she raised the legal fees within the offer, and threatened to continue use raising them if I continued to ask questions regarding my the emails.

I reported you to the BBB because I was offered a deal which was good up until a certain date. I had clarifying questions regarding that deal prior to the deadline, and was instructed by your staff to send them via email. Then, without warning, they altered the deal, charging me increased lawyers fees this seems to be in extremely bad faith. And, besides blurring the line between whether Im your client or defendant (since Im somehow responsible for paying legal fees the way a client would), your paralegal chose to alter the numbers of the offer and upcharge me rather than honoring the offer as it was written/sent by your official client. Im not even sure if thats legal on her part, but she made it clear that if I asked more questions regarding the charges, she would charge me even more. In my estimation, ******************** actions were specious and unethical.

I agreed in my settlement to pay a specific number of legal fees (as given in the offer). At no point did I agree to incur all legal fees going forward.

    Sincerely,

    *****************************
