      Shaw air (***********************) was payed a down payment of $3,456.60 on 8/10/24 to replace our air conditioning unit. They were scheduled to come out Tuesday 8/13, but did not show up because the equipment was not in. Rescheduled for Thursday 8/15, again did not show up because he saw a lady on the street and thought she was there to report him for not having the proper permits. So he said he would have to push out. Promised to be there Sunday. No showed Sunday and stated he wouldnt have the permits until Wednesday. Said he would fill the Freon up to hold us over. No showed for that too. Then stated he would install Wednesday. Wednesday, again no call no show. When we reached out several times he stated the permits were not ready. Thursday he did not show up, no excuse but offered $500 off. Then he said he would be there for sure on Friday. Friday I reached out and he stated that his truck wouldnt start. This entire time, he refused to answer the phone, kept ignoring our calls. Would only respond to texts. We asked for a refund and he stopped replying and we cannot get ahold of him. We are going to have to get a different contractor as our air has now been out for 3 weeks and we have animals that are getting warm. We have all of the texts, emails and a receipt that show the down payment was received.

      On July 15, 2024 I paid Shaw Air a total of $5,286 for a new furnace and AC Unit. After the work was done I contacted **************** from Shaw Air regarding if he installed a new air filter and he informed me that he had not. I asked in numerous text messages asking for him to return back to show me and help with replacing a new air filter. For 2 weeks he went back and forth with me about an air filter. And once I started to him that on the invoice he stated New Air filter. When I brought it up he tried sending me via text a total different invoice and they tells me that he did the job and I didn't even sign the paperwork. After I stated that he briefed his own policy and procedure then he gets smart with me and said he will come. After 3 no calls no show and making up many excuses why he didn't show and also I informed **************** from Shaw Air that the equipment is leaking and he tells me that's normal and after I told him that I have water all over the floor where the new equipment is that he installed he would sat a date that he will return but was always a no call no show. I have called the office no answer. I have a botched work was done and I need to now have everything fix again. He is not honoring his policy nor keeping appointments in which he schedule.

      Please see My review below. I purchased a service maintained plan. Shaw Air honoring the agreement and I want a refund for the unused 2 year on the agreement. I was told I could and have texts stating it. But he will not refund the $210 for the second year maintain e plan for my air condition I thought I did good using a referral. ******* was friendly and nice at first. My install took over a week with excuses on not showing up on time. During the install he worked mainly by himself and staying till midnight.Once completed, I turned on the ** to find out he broke a water line and water was staining my ceiling on the second floor.He did come out and glued the line back together and I even fixed the stain on the ceiling at my exspense.1st sign of trouble. once the Job is complete and I paid the remaining balance. You should forget being treated with any level of respect or priority. I purchased a two year service maintenance plan. And this is where things went wrong.**Calls ignored **Texts ignored.**Services per agreement are not completed I asked if I can be refunded the 2 year of the plan since it starts in August 2024. After a few objections he agreed.Then again.His word is not honered. I been asking since July 1st for a refund and after a serval unanswered screened calls and texts he said I will recieve it in the mail. 2 weeks go by and still no refund. I was told again it will be sent after I posted a honest here. I was told if I remove the review I will get a refund. A week later no refund.I urge anyone to use a provider that can meet the needs of the clients. ******* is mainly a one man show that is a salesman, installer, service call tech and deceiver when it comes to keeping his word.All I wanted is a refund on a service agreement that has not started

      I have recieved a refund for a prepaid in advance for a year of Air condition maintenance. Even though the new term of the contract has not started, I do not call this break in the contract.

      The reason for the request for the refund of a future contract that has not began was due to lack of honoring the contract in the first year. I could not get  the terms honored.  I suppose to had a deep cleaning done that I could never get scheduled.  

      like I said I did recieve a refund for a future contact that has yet to began and I am satisfied this has been resolved.

      On 11/28/2023 Shaw Air was contracted out to my home by our home warranty company due to an issue with our heater not working. On 12/8/2023 Shaw Air worker, *********************** came out to our home to access the problem and what it would take to fix the problem. The issue was our heater motor had gone out. The part was still under warranty in which at the time ************ proceeded to order the part through warranty. At that time , *********************** then proceeded with taking our old motor with him stating the process was needed and would return when the new part arrived. Several weeks went by and no communication from the company. My wife and I both called several times as well as texted and sent emails asking for a follow up. When they final responded after 3 weeks we advised them at that time that we were going to use someone else do to the unprofessionalism of their company and advising them of the urgency of the repair due to having a young child in the home and it being extremely cold in the home. The company has refused to return the part needed in order for someone else to be able to properly complete the job due to not having the part to reorder through the warranty. We have had to file a police report against the company for theft. We just want our equipment back along with the part they ordered through our warranty
