On October 10, 2024, I contracted Quartz Depot, **** for kitchen countertops, providing a $500 deposit for measurements. By October 15, 2024, I paid $2,743.50 (75% of the total invoice, less the deposit). Installation took place on October 21, 2024, during which several issues were identified, including unremovable blemishes, countertop misalignment, inconsistent overhangs, and damage to my newly installed wall to accommodate the counter. The warehouse manager acknowledged the defects, including a flawed peninsula piece, improper cabinet alignment, and gaps between the countertops and walls. Despite creating two separate templates, the peninsula piece was delivered with an improper stove opening. Subsequent removals and re-installations caused additional damage, including:Misaligned and uneven stove cutouts.Persistent gaps between the peninsula countertop and the wall.A horizontal break in the wall during adjustments.Damage to the island skin and dishwasher display due to improper handling.Although the company reimbursed me for the 1st wall repair, the countertops remain flawed, with unresolved gaps, shorter than the cabinets, and inconsistent overhang. Despite multiple attempts to rectify the issues, the installation is incomplete and has left my kitchen in an unacceptable condition. Today, they hung up on me. I am unable to get them to commit to a visit with the warehouse manager and outline the next steps. I am looking for a collaborative resolution. I've been more than patient and accommodating for all of their six visits.

On 3/23 we were in the showroom and found a remnant of ********* that we were interested in but not sure if it would fit our needs (we were in the middle of a major renovation). The salesperson stated to put a $500 deposit to hold the remnant until we were ready but it was refundable. When we later returned to the showroom, we were told the specific remnant had been sold to someone else but we could use another remnant. After our insurance issued a final amount, we determined we would not need the piece and asked for the business to honor their word and refund the deposit. We never signed anything saying it was nonrefundable, but the business is now saying its company policy that deposits arent refunded and the deposit was actually to hold a scheduling appointment. Again, this is posted nowhere around the business. The business never sent anyone to measure, the original remnant was sold, and we placed the deposit under the guidance it was refundable. We would like our money back.
