Ive been a resident at this establishment for a little over 2 years. Im on my now 3rd lease. Never had an issue with the previous company (*****************/The Retreat at *******) until it was bought by the current company of **********************.I returned home on Aug16 8:50a after leaving 12 hours prior. I realized my fridge and microwave power were out but I had power in the remainder of my until. My background is food safety, So with that I checked my freezer product saw the the product was still frozen so this power outage had to have just happened before I gotten in. I immediately put a high priority maintenance request in online. I also went to my front office which opened at 9am.I explained to this employee that I put the request in Im leaving to go out of town. She explained they would get to it as soon as possible. In the request you can also see I put my preferred contact is phone as I wouldnt be checking my email on vacation. Fast forward to Sunday on my way back I check my email to see that on Friday at 4pm the office emailed me to say they couldnt not enter my building due to their assumption I changed my locks and I have not. They also never called me in the three days they were open to complete a high priority maintenance request. I returned home Sunday around 5pm to bugs inside and outside my fridge and the worst smell imaginable because it has now been 5 days of no power. The office is closed on Sunday so I had to wait until I got off Monday to give them a call. I was told to send an email and the office manager would call me that day. I sent the email within 20 minutes of getting off the phone with this employee. I didnt not receive a phone call. Yet 24h later while i was at work they miraculously were able to get into my unit and turn the power back on.Im filing this complaint because I lost all of my groceries some of which I had just purchased. And still no contact from the establishment on correcting.
