My family spent over $70,000 with ****** ******** after he was referred to us. The job included installing a 2 tier retaining wall (with proper drainage) around our new pool in the back yard. The job also included installing proper drainage systems in the already built planter boxes and redoing/repairing the steps. ****** ******** is the owner of ************************. A few months after the job was complete, I noticed a crack on one of the planter box walls that started behind the wall, came up over the top of the wall, ran down the front of the wall, and along the step. I also noticed that red ************* was seeping out of the crack. I texted ****** and he told me to make sure I kept it cleaned, to not let the red dirt sit on the surface and that he'd come take a look at it. I was happy he was guiding me and helping me navigate thru this issue. After 5-8 weeks of texting him updates of me keeping it as clean as possible he was able to meet me at the house and look at the crack in person. ****** told me, face to face, that because the crack ran behind the line where they sealed it that he would be able to fix it and repair it for free. I was grateful. It's been 2 months since he assured me that he would repair the crack. I called 3-4 times a day for weeks, texted him daily for many weeks with no response. He finally responded to my text after 4-5 weeks of waiting. He's admitted to telling me that he would fix it for free, but for some reason now refuses to do the work. I am so confused. He simply needs to follow through, do what he told me he would do, repair the crack in the wall, the step, and reseal it, repaint it and complete the task. I'm not sure what happened or why ****** told me he would take care of something, and then drop the ball so bad. Please come complete the work you told me you would do ******. Not sure what happened, what sort of troubles you may be dealing with in life, but please, lets finish this job. Thanks so much.

We performed 70k worth of high quality work in retaining walls and fixing some very poor concrete work done by a previous contractor. They had concrete steps not up to code, as well as no drainage on some large planters. we added drainage to the planters and fixed the steps. I explained to ****** before we started the work that since the planters were built without any reinforcement and with very poor quality, that even after all the repairs were done, he would have to continue to do regular maintenance on the planters as new cracks will appear.
Mr. ****** is upset because we will not do the regular maintenance for free. He is aware that this is not warranty work and lies when I said I would do this maintenance for free. Unfortunately we run a business and not a charity. Note that while we worked on this property for multiple weeks, Mr. ****** asked us to do multiple other jobs for free. We fixed a leaking faucet, built some metal planters and even extended some pipes coming out of the 3 A/C units. All that for free.
Mr. ****** will not take no for an answer and has continuously harassed us for weeks thru text messages, has been very disrespectful by calling me names and threatening to harm our appearance on social media and more.
All the of the payments came from the homeowner, Ms. ****** She is aware that this isn't warranty work and therefore never even contacted us. ****** is simply the basement tenant. I believe ****** has more of a personal issue with me due to me having a friendship with his ex-girlfriend and not so much of an ethical business issue.

I have zero ******al issues with ******.
I think hes a great guy and truly wish the best for him, his business, his faimly, and anyone else that may be affiliated with him.
I'm glad he provided screenshots of our conversation. It clearly shows that i am trying to resolve this matter professionly and avoid going any further than the BBB. I have not posted anything on social media, left any bad reviews, or spoke badly of his business to anyone else outside this attenpt to get ****** to do the right thing, to fix the crack he assured me he would take care of.
He even said in a text message that he told me he would do the work for free, but now isnt willing to do the work for free or for money.
I am well aware that ****** told me that the concrete may require matenience and i have every intention of making sure any future matenience or repairs are taken care of.
****** came to the house and told me in ****** that he would fix this crack. I understand that it's not covered under any warranty. I am simply wanting to get the work done that he told me he would do. Thats all.  I made it clear that we don't have to even chat, be friends, or anything other than completing the work.
No one has time for drama, ******al issues or any senseless atempts to be *****. Life is too short.

When this crack appeared, of course the first ****** i called was ******.
My aunt ***** who owns the house and i help take care of because she has health issues, doesn't want to deal with this. That's why she had me manage the project with ****** from the beginning.

Even though it took some time, I'm glad ****** came and gave me his opinion on the crack.
His assessment was that he would fix it, for free, and get it taken care of.
I was grateful that he was going to fix it.
I don't understand how things went from "yes we'll take care of it, I'll fix it for free" to not answering any of my calls for months and avoiding me.
Please come fix the crack ******.
    Thank in Advance

It is my understanding that ****** is retracting his complaint and would like to close this matter.

    Is that correct ******?

    Customer Answer

    Date: 03/06/2025

    That is correct

Thanks ****** for all your help.

Best of luck to you in the future.

    God Bless
    ****** ******
