      On 3/21/2024 AKA Tree ********** location was hired to do work for ************************* located at ************************************. AKA could not access the property with their truck. I gave permission for the truck to enter and leave from my driveway. Only for the truck to enter and leave from my driveway. AKA Tree Service Oakwood, ** in addition without my permission decided to run a bobcat up and down my driveway and turning the bobcat in different directions on the driveway damaging it by creating ruts. To my surprise they also unloaded many trees at the end of my driveway on my grass creating more ruts in the driveway. I called and spoke with *********************** of AKA Tree Service and told him about the damage. He sent two men with ***** out to smooth out the gravel. This did not correct the damage. ***** can out to my house and rode in my car down the driveway. He felt and saw the damage. ***** said he would bring my issue up in their Friday meeting, July 5th. I never heard anything from *****.On July 19th I called AKA Tree Service in *******, **. I asked, *******************, the Office Manger, for the owners name. She would not tell me so I asked to speak with him, she would not let me. She asked for pictures of the trees dropped on the grass at the end on my driveway and damages to the graveled driveway. I sent them along with text messages from *****. She told me someone would contact me by Monday, July 22nd. I waited an extra day and sent a text to **** and I have not received a reply. I am hoping this complaint will prevent me from having to go to small claims court to correct the damages done to my driveway.Thank you ***********************

In good faith, we have reached out to ***************** to resolve the matter further. See attached before and after videos from original repair.

      The attachments were copies of text that I sent to ***** with AKA Tree Service. Unless I am missing something this has not be resolved.

We have been trying to contact you via email to receive the estimate from your contractor to start on repairs, but we have been unable to get a legitimate estimate.       On Nov 16, 2023, I contacted AKA tree service to remove two trees in my front yard and to grind out the stumps, so that I could plant new trees. AKA contractually agree to remove the trees for $1200.00 and grind the stumps 4-6" below grade for $300.00. On November 28, 2023 the trees were removed. Grinding was completed on December 9, 2023. When I removed the wood shavings, I discovered that the ***** were not ground below grade at all. In fact one ***** was only ground to the top of the planter, which sits about 9" above grade. The other ***** was more than 13" above grade. In each case they were ground to the top of the planter. Not even below grade of the planter, let alone - actual grade. When I called AKA, I was told that AKA contracted another company to do the grinding, and they did not have the right equipment. After several inquiries, AKA expressed uncertainty on when they would be able to send someone out to do the work correctly. They also expressed uncertainty about their ability to secure the proper equipment. So, I proposed to AKA I would pay them $100.00 to settle the contract to avoid HOA fines, as my brick planters were dissembled by AKA and not reassembled and the yard was in disarray. Out of concern for additional delays, I informed AKA that I had quotes from others and one provided a guarantee that he could grind the stumps below grade. On, December 18, 2023 I paid another company who did the grinding, achieving 20" and 18" below grade for each *****, respectively. AKA said that they would bill me for $150.00 for the grinding work that they did. Although, I was willing to pay $100.00 -- though they work was not done, $150.00 is unacceptable. However, I paid the bill out of frustration and the need to move on. To add insult to injury, I remitted payment for the tree removal part of the bill ($1200.00), on December 1. However, the $150.00 - adjusted invoice did not reflect my earlier payment, which required additional back and forth.
